| Blah, blah, blah, it is the same old song and dance. After all is said and done, when allied troops are carting out stockpiles of undocumented weapons of mass destruction and exposing the untold atrocities of Saddam’s regime (a la Joseph Stalin) and his connections to global terrorism, the region and world will be that much safer and “do-gooders” will crawl back into their holes....at least until the next WTO meeting :p |

I love these conversations. I just wanted to step in. The US needs Canada so any american than doesnt think so is an idiot. The US wouldnt do anything that didnt benefit themselves somehow. Hence we let NAFTA go through.
Luckily for Canada they never have to spend money on a military because they know we got that covered for them. And yes i am exagerating that point.
I wish people would just understand that no matter what country you are from, they are going to do things that benefit them. Just because they US is one of the superpowers in the world, people bring up the things the guy started this thread with. We are looking like hypocrits because we think one thing benefits us and as time changes so do the objectives.
I know everyone is bitching about the US now. Just imagine how we were bitching about the Brits when they were on top of the world and we broke off. There's always a reason to complain about every country. The larger the country and the more influence, the more to complain about.

| Well I do agree in some ways but you have to understand that the US is the most strongest country in the whole entire world. When countries trade with another they deal in USD. If you go to North Korea, they will accept US dollars. They won't expect GBP (although it was higher value than USD) |
