hey guys
After recently reading the hair thread i decided to go out and try some of that . i bought some hair cream called American Crew. Got tire of Gel. I like it because i can remold my hair anytime.
Cons; it has a weird that rubs off on my hands when i mess with it. This only last a couple of minutes but still. It doenst have the strenght i need it to have to keep my hair up. Any other brands that will help with problems mentioned.

i use a combination of Beadhead - Hairbanger (Tigi brand) and Paul Mtichell "dry Wax".. it is probably the best combo ever, since my hair doesn't fall down when i sweat.. FINALLY!
you cannot help the hands thing. |

| We sell that crap American Crew at my salon alot of guys use it i think it is awesome!!! Try the wax too!! it works good! |

| is American Crew a good brand. Since you work at a salon, do you know which gel brands are good. meaning its not bad for your hair. Or do you know any sites that tells u the difference between off the shelve brrands and salon bought ones. |

i use combo of normal gel, then blow dry it till it solid, then a coat of hair spray to give nice gloss and it will stay like that all day [without the furry ends]

Fact
Blow drying rocks. It makes your hair really thick and stands up after you put in that gel. I miss my can of hairspray!
anyone uses mooose for their hair. How does that work? |

i bought American Crew at an HEB near my house in Houston. HEB is a grocery store so i guess you can find it anywhere. What i want to know is what are the name brands for some of the waxes that are actually good i want to give that a try, or anyother hair creams with better hold than American Crew.

| I use moose, well, i used to until i started wairing toques. I like it a lot aside fromt the fact that it walls apart VERY EASILY. If you just on a shirt and it brushes up against your hair, it gets ruined. When you sweat, it breaks up aswell. I just used like 2 brands though and didnt try many other ones. But now that i am wearing touques, i cannot style my hair anymore becuase my hair is so messed up to one side :p |

I use Loreal Mega gel, then blow dry my hair and I'm good to go... |

| Ok for guys i think american crew is very good!!!!!all their products for men,But i dont think buying this stuff in the grocery store is legite!! You gotta go to a salon and get it! DO NOT use cheap stuff and think its good for ur hair cuz it isint! for those who care anyways..Wax is good to use to texture the hair like when making spikes but if you plan on going out Dancing or to sweat Its not a good idea it wont last :) Your best bet is a good medium or strong hold gel And a blowdryer..A cream is also good or pomade as they say but they wont last you through a gatecrasher night :P |

wax has the advantage, that it provides a "felxble hold" it isn't just rock solid.. i prefer it at this point
plus my wax doesn't wash out easily, so I can sweat more without loosing the shape i moled my hair into. |
