| Looking for some good tracks from the ambient genre. By this I mean beatless, atmospheric, chillout tracks. No vocals, no beat, just atmosphere. Any recommendations from the local ambient giants here? |

total eclipse - Nakano Ghost , Total Eclipse - Espanolizer<-- not quite beatless ambient, but very slow, minimal beats
Ozric Tentacles - Aura Borealis
Grey Area - Amphibia
vibrasphere - 33000 feet over
The Mystery of the Yeti Part2 - Total Eclipse - Freefalling Upwards <-- very long song, 15 minutes, with about 4 or so minutes with a beat with the rest ambient
Lash - Kothoga, Ham - Organique, SUN project - going with the flow(louder ambient with slow breakbeats)
Paul Lansky - Mild und Leise |

Also a marathoner but that just means there's more to savor :) . |

Some of my favorite atmospheric mood setting ambient tunes:
Steve Roach - Structures From Silence
Brian Eno - An Ending
Sven Vath - drifting like whales in the darkness
Tom Aragon - Song of the Dragonfly
Tom Aragon - Land of Dreams
Global Communication - 14:31 (yes thats the song name from the album 76.14 which btw is a class album. A must have for any fan of the genre)
Ompah - Tucanae
Biosphere - Silene
Biosphere - Hyperborea
I would say definately check out anything by Steve Roach, Biosphere, Brian Eno, etc. I have a nice list of chilled out trance tunes with lots of ambience. If you interested I'll post em. Also use search. GrimReaper and a few others conjured up a nice list of chillout tunes recently. Enjoy. |

Thanks, currently grabbing all your Biosphere. Should be quality since its a cool name :toocool:
Edit: Thanks! Just what I was looking for. I assume you have just the best tracks from Biosphere - Substrata? My favorites were Hyperborea and Poa Alpina. |
