Chicane is a good choice.
But prefer chillout cds or artists like Afterlife.
I it has to have a beat then I find the Back To Basics Double Cd mixed by DT does it for me.
Pretty Deeeeeeep House.

The old Paul Oakenfold Essential mixes.....China, Ibiza, Miami, Buenos Aires.

If you dont want to go with the whole of Tiesto's 'Summerbreeze', then some----

1. BT- Dreaming (Libra Mix)
2.Cabala- Dark Blue (Original Mix)
3. Dawnseekers- Gothic Dream (John Johnson Remix)

And from Airdrawndagger- "Bloodlock"

I've read that its best to study to music you already know, so you don't have to think about the music to much and u can focus on the work u are doing, so something you've already heard a bunch of times would be best.

I listened to PVD @ Rosenmontags rave 2k2 and Nu-NRG @ Orgasmatron 5 May 2k2 about 50 times each while i was studying for my high school finals :D

Great thread!

This question was on my mind for years now. No matter how hard I try to narrow it down, I can't. So far, the least distracting would be Sandra Collins' Transport. Progressive tunes usually work as well. Nick Warren's GU tunes are quiet nice. Tenaglia's works at times. Make sure nobody is watching. You'll end up moving your head up and down without ever realizing it. ISOS3 is too distracting for me. Mindcircus and Southern Sun have huge effect on me and leave absolutly nothing in the studying department. Next time, I'll attempt to study to Northern Exposure series. Who knows.

Last time I was listning to some Hard trance album. "Resonate 2: The hard sound of hard trance" I believe. Quiet nice to study. Oh wait...I almost failed that test. Never mind.

Venomdx! You're crazy! How can you study to Nu Nrg? Whenever I put Orgasmatron, I can't help but jump around. That CD gets the adrenaline pumping 100% guarantee.

I shall agree with many on this board- studying to Chicane works wonders for myself. I also tend to listen to classical music and occasionally celtic music when I'm studying. I find listening to music with an intense beat to distracting from my study session.

somewthing not 2 complex, but enough for easy listening, so you can consentrate on both, e.g chicane:D :D
