To Archon810: Sharing music and having slots means nothing, all of us have that. Spamming the hub and selling music that is not yours is what you're doing. So if it continues there will be (sorry to sound like such an ass) action taken. |

If it really is illegal, then I guess I am getting a death sentence if someone catches me... and seizes all 160 CDs of MP3s that I have "collected" so far!
By the way, to get back on the topic... I really don't think this is a right thing to do (sell MP3 CDs and make money off someone else's hard work), but hey, if you're getting away with it and keeping some people out there satisfied (for whatever the reason), all the props to you man! |

| i believe someone asked about this earlier in the thread but... not sure about finland, but Taiwan completely ignores international copyright laws. Not sure about the policy in china, but when i was there, there were loads of DVD/CD shops, so it's either the same or it's simply not enforced adequatly... |

So you really think that downloading free high quality trance makes you morally so much better then also selling it? Haha.
Besides, Archon shares it unselfishly on the Hub.
I think if you want to bitch about what a bastard Archon is for selling trance, then stop downloading free trance yourself so then maybe you wont look like such a hypocrite.

As to being reluctant to sharing, as rock_roll mentioned, then if i'm not sharing, i don't know who is. With 300 GB shared, I'm at the top of EMC list. Why don't you get some files first and some hd space and then talk about sharing. That's where my money goes anyway, hd and connection.

Never understood a lot of the hypocrisy surrounded this. 99% of the people who've posted in this thread that use soulseek, kazza etc..... if the internet was banned in your town and you had no way to download your tunes & livesets you would be willing to pay a small amount for somebody to burn them to CD for you.
edit: + all those talking about downloading files being legal. It's not!. There's no law saying as long as you delete it after and hour it's OK, or as long as you buy the CD if you like it it's OK. It's illegal! |
