| I don't care what others say, Viva is the best Trance club in Toronto right now. They bring in great talent, they don't overpack the place, the sound and lazers are awesome, but the best part is - VIVA IS ALWAYS FULL OF TAs - who create the best party atmosphere EVER ! |

OMG, this is just retarded. Viva is awesome. But its only been a year. Please be sane and dont compare it top Guv. Maybe Viva will become a legend in the future, not yet. Guvernment "IS" a legend and its happened after 5-6 years of existence. Just like Twilo was. Dont be conceited Torontonions. Guv has reached international repute. It takes time. I would be happy to see Viva gain such repute aswell and add more to Toronto's scene.
Still, it will always be overshadowed by the Guv, unless Guv closes its doors.

wells i was hoping that ppl here wouldn't compare it to Guv .. but i guess that's inevitable in any case. i really think that VIva should move in a direction that it creates its own repetoire instead of trying to be another 'Guvernment'. The Guv has always been the premier club of TO and i think that's what it's known for. Viva should be known for something else. A bigger club doesn't always mean it's better. Either way both clubs being successful can only mean good things for TO. just think of the amount of all the great talent we could be seeing in the coming year.. :eyespop: |

I really enjoy my nights out at the guvernment and sometimes I am in awe of the kind of talent that they bring in, however I don't think it's being conceited if TA's prefer the talent that Viva brings in or the way they do things (i.e. capacity issues). It HAS only been a year and already they are bringing in PVD-- that's pretty impressive if you ask me.:)
