The only thing which is valid in this whole discussion is that "once you pop, you can't stop".. it may take a year before you take your 2nd pill, but it will happen.
Now for my opinion: E definitely has it's sideffects, which are usually present a day, two after taking the pill. As far as long-term sideffects, they are still unknown, but personally I don't think that taking 2-3 pills a year will up your organism for the rest of your life. Your organism is a pretty powerful thing, every day you get bad bacteria, you get poisoned etc - yet you remained alive.
As far as the closure of clubs in NYC, I personally think it was the right decision. There is nothing worse than a 16 year old getting ed up on drugs. It really affects all of his future life. |

the clubs are shut down, and rightfully so.
Kids ed up is a horrible sight!
If they were to shut down roxy, i wonder what people would be doing on the weekend in NYC. Maybe popping at home with their parents.

There would be a huge revolt, but mostly from all the pill poppers that visit that place every week... the others would just move their weekend partying to some other clubs. |

Other clubs? Such as...? There aren't many out there that play trance. Guv is one, Viva the other and occasionally System. And yeah, if a club gets to the point where 16 yr olds are od'ing then shut it down. (hopefully Viva never gets like that) |

I disagree-
The Guv has a loyal following, and I wouldn't categorize them all as 'pill poppers'. The ones that do get all zooted out would quietly move on elsewhere, but there are many that would protest.
But we all know that day will never come, as we all know the Guv has gotta be paying someone in office off to get away with the overcrowding issues alone. |
