Jesus, I'm amazed that some of you could hate Zombie Nation! i have nothign against it, i quite enjoy the tune. & another one is Ariel "A9". I mean wtf??? there is absolutely nothing wrong with this one. but hey its an opinion.

| "Kernkraft 400" is worse than "Sandstorm", I even heard a little boy aged about 8 in my village humming it!!!! It's simple, annoying and cheesy! |

Thinking about it, I find it quite strange why "Sandstorm" was so big! It's not half as simple or catchy as the likes of Dj Jurgen "Better Off Alone", ATB "9PM Till I Come" or Zombie Nation "Kernkart 400" but it's equally annoying.
Oh and I should have added Thrillseekers "Synaesthasia" (Darude Mix). This bears nothing in common with the original and is utter ! Ratty "Sunrise" is also pretty awful! |

I think the main reason, because Sandstorm made it so big, is that it was very Simple. The main melody was only made with 4 notes. The other reason is probably the Sound itself. It was something people had never heard before.
actually it is a big mystery how sandstorm got big.
it was a one helluva big coinsidence... Neo records, for instance, founded sandstorm via internet. They D/lled it on mp3...
actually I quite like Ratty - Sunrise. It has cool vocals :), although the main sound is kinda 'darude' ripoff... |

| Ratty "Sunrise" had to be one of the most unoriginal songs ever made. It had a kind of Darude rip off sound and has the much overused "Song To The Siren" vocal! |
