Does anyone know how good they are as DJ's?
They'll be at Centro-Fly this Friday, both spinning and doing a live PA
If you're wondering who they are, they did one of the Mitsubishi commerical songs.

I was wondering the same thing. There is not much going this Friday(beside Arc), so I might check it out--provided the music is something that I like..

so, yes, what type of music do they spin?

I think I read that French house is their style. You'd be hard-pressed to hear trance at Centro on a Friday, or any night for that matter. :)
Next week, Dirty Vegas is playing there. There's a nice set of theirs on DJMixes2k. Too bad there's some German dude also playing that night. :D

Does anyone know if Astral Projection @ Estate is still on? If so, then that's another option.

friday, feb. 14 :: telepopmusik
Centro-Fly, 45 w. 21st street :: photos

Ask for HeadRush Music gueslist to get reduced cover of $10 until midnight, $15 from 12-1 AM

If you have seen the latest Mitsubishi commercial, you've heard the track "Breathe," the huge dance hit from Télépopmusik’s amazing new album "Genetic World" - which has sold over 100,000 copies in the US.

Originally known as Sonic 75, Télépopmusik are a French band with influences from Kraftwerk to Buggles to Grand Master Flash and Sugar Hill Gang who use (among other things) noises and vocals taken from television programs to create their sound.

Télépopmusik’s DJ set and live P.A. at GBH is their exclusive New York date on an extensive world tour – don’t miss this one!

Downstairs in the Pinky, Frank Delour and Seth play hip hop and classics.

To get in for reduced admission, ask for the HeadRush Music guestlist at the door. 21+.

GOGOGOGO !!! it's the same people that organize parties here :D

:tongue2 it's true it may sound dumb at first but really, it's a good question :D

first off it's obviously from France ;)

and secondly it's got a different vibe then let's say chicago house music.

:toothless

hope you make it out !

Although not a good example (i'm drawing a blank right now), i believe Daft Punk is an example
