| Armin graduated in Law and Ferry in Electrical Engineering. How common is it for big DJ's to have an university degree? How far do most of them go on the Educational System? |

| Well I'm a DJ and I'm majoring in Software/Electrical Engineering (but I'm not a very good DJ though hehe). Thats cool to hear that Ferry Corsten is a fellow EE!! |

Damn, Armin must be smart to have a LAW DEGREE, these days you got to have a mark of about 93 to get to UNI for a LAW degree, but i guess at ARMINs age, the whole revolution and law was better and less strict and allowed more people in.
I might be wrong. |

At my university, you need minimum 2 years of undergraduate studies in any department and if you have good enough marks, you can qualify to take the LSAT exams to get into law school. |

The education system in Holland is very different from that in de USA (and Canada?). In the USA, everyone who does their best can go to some sort of university, in Holland, only the *most smart* ones can:
- Primary school till the age of 12 (maybe a little different in some cases), then the people split up:
- People who aren't that smart (around 60% of all) go to VMBO.
- People who are smarter go to HAVO (25%)
- The smartest go to VWO (15%)
With VMBO, you can go to MBO, with HAVO you can go to HBO (Ferry did that) and only with VWO you can go to the university.
Hope you understand this :) |

No... he was going to be a carpenter, remember?
Veverka: There's just one thing I didn't understand what do VMBO, HAVO, VWO,... mean in English? It would be easier for us to understand :) |

i'm so tired of everyone seeing the word law in front of the word degree and being "like wow...armin must be a genius". armin ain't no genuis, expecially when it comes to music. |
