Though I'm tempted to hand it to Jan Johnston, I think I'll go with Kirsty Hawkshaw. Can't beat Fine Day/Halcyon & On & On.
In terms of who you're missing, my first thoughts are:
Penny McCleery (Home)
Grace (Not Over Yet) |

Jan Johnston gets my vote
Leigh Nash has a great voice, as well as Nadia of IIO. |

Kirsty Hawkshaw & Sarah McLachlan hands down but, few others that should be noted...
*Chrissie Hynde of Hybrid - If I Survive/Kid 2000
*Keali Ali of Satoshi Tomiie - Up In Flames and others
*Rebecca Raine of Orion - See Me Here
*Sophie Moleta of Human Movement - Love Will Come Again/Fall Into Love

Maybe not the best, but really worth a mention:
NOEMI |

also forgot Tori Amos who should deserve an honorable mention b/c though she doesnt necessary sing in many trance tunes, her songs/voice have/has been sampled in many classical tunes such as, Salt Tank - Eugina, Rabbit In The Moon - Out Of Body Experience. and her songs have been remixed by both BT & PvD :p :D and shes just an amazing singer :disbelief:
