we should really applaud the people who use drugs in clubs and raves for possibly losing our freedom to go to these events. Don't blame the politicians for the RAVE act, blame all those idiots who do the drugs.

short and sweet :)

any druggies care to respond?

Not a druggie myself but would raves/clubs and trance be the same if there were no drugs? I don't think so. And even though it's mainly the people who do drug's fault...it's also in large part the government. In other countries (i.e. candada, holland, germany), just as much drug use goes on in clubs and there's nothing like the RAVE act.

Its really to bad your government has such a bad attitude towards drugs. im not saying that doing them is 100% correct, but your war on drug has cause nothing but problems. Land of the free, cant say i totally agree on that one. Better then many countries though :P
mongeone
do drugs have fun its your choice... go for it!!!!

one should be free to do with himself as he wishes!!! the key is moderation... the people that cant handle moderation just go and lose the moderation somewhere else if they cant get hold of drugs!!! ive done plenty of drugs plenty of times and never felt addicted or slow in class or ed up becauase of it!

but to each his own... if you wanna have your extreme view to one point of the spectrum ill have my extreme view to the other point of the spectrum...

i believed i used FACTS

The whole reason we might lose our freedom to go to clubs and raves is because of druggies. correct? I don't believe it has anything to do with too much noise, or traffic and fire violations or any of that. its just about all those people who think clubs are about drugs, not the music or experience.

why so bitter? people who use drugs aren't the main reason why those venues got shut down...it's a number of reasons, and yes, partly the government is to blame. maybe you can help by removing the stick from their ass and yours!

actually most politicians are the ones that do the drugs. short and sweet. ;)

well...yeah druggies are partially to blame but the venues who host these events provide the security for these parties and are not thoroughly searching these people for drugs or kicking people out who do drugs. I've actually been with a friend who was caught with drugs at a rave and the bouncer let him go with a warning and let him keep what he had.

Why pick on us ?????? go out and make a big heroin bust or something, or go out and blast all those people who get drunk and kill themselves along with other innocent people on the roads :whip I know Ive never dumped and drove and gone out and killed someone, give us a break, and solve your economic situation and stop picking on us for having fun

it's the conservative governments fault, not the people who use drugs that is the problem for this. By attempting to curtail peoples personal freedom they are trying to wipe their hands clean by saying that they did all they could to try to stop people from using drugs (whether it be making huge penalties for possessing or selling drugs to limiting access to places where people can use drugs). All in all its a ty argument as all this policing of drugs and or drug paraphanelia and supposed places where drug consumption occurs is that it drives it underground. it also causes a artificial inflation of drug prices (bad). Instead of adopting this kind of attitude, the government should understand that people will do drugs no matter what the consequences are and that they should just try to make it safer for those that choose to do these drugs.

btw don't be a baby. Do something about it.
