BT & Hybrid vs. Space Manoeuvres - Running Down The Way Up vs. Stage one.
i just d/led that and its my first time ever hearing this. has anyone else heard this? what do u all think? personally i thought id dislike it cuz alotta bootlegs are shady and put the original tracks to shame. esp when its a bootleg of 2 masterpieces which most ppl consider classics. BUT, i was quite surprised to find myself actually liking it hehehe :o i dont even want to claim that its as good as the originals cuz obviously the originals are untouchable BUT, it does seem that whoever did create this bootleg did a perty good of making an above standard bootleg :)
PS: DONT REPLY TO THIS THREAD SAYING IT SUX WITHOUT EVEN LISTENING TO IT FIRST :whip: :whip: :whip:

| The "bootleg" was done on the fly, mid set by Hybrid in a radio 1 studio set i believe. Its very good. |

Yes, Hybrid played it in a studio mix at Radio 1.
I think its pretty good! I like both of those songs, and they are very well put together :) |

As a rule I dont like bootlegs but this one works.
The original of 'running down the way up' was written by BT, Mike truman (of hybrid) and Kirsty Hawkshaw. It was from a poem 'the outcome' also written by Hawkshaw. The tune was produced by BT and Hybrid.
So I would presume Hybrid had something to do with the bootleg - especially if they are playing it. wonder what John Graham (space manoeuvres etc) thinks of it??? |

The mix used in the bootleg is the Space Manoeuvres total separation mix.
The separation mix is a 4/4 version with a different breakdown. Both versions were actually combined into a dual breakdown version on Northern Exposure - expeditions <-------- presumably using pro-tools, its doesnt sound like a mix - way too smooth, even for Sasha. |
