once again, i've stated my opinions and i feel they are ALLOWED to be debatable. I don't attack people just because they don't agree with me. I research the best of my ability to create an intelligent arguement that supports my opinions and beliefs.

DJ Slain.......maybe u should get a grip and maybe grow up a tad.
Drugs have always been part of the clubbing scene, you lucky now, because 'herion' isn't the main club drug anymore, like it was in the early 80's.
They way ur speaking, its like ur complaining about kids playing in the street coz they're being too loud. sort it out or u will become a bitter old man.
U say its 'your scene' well I'm sorry but quite frankly the scene wouldn't be where it is today without the drugs, this is a fact.
To be honest, what seperates Gatecrasher from the ritzy clubs is the drugs, I've not seen a fight yet in Crasher whereas at the local ritzy cheese club I could witness 5 or more a night, which doesn't provide a particularly happy night.
I can tell u that more clubs are shutting worldwide not because of drug issues, but because of violence and lack of attendence caused by dance music becoming less popular in the mainstream.
Get a clue...and grow up. |

ok ok just another small point for you djpainintheass (djslain), you thnk that YOUR beloved scene, would be as great as it is atmospherewise, if all the clubs were full of beer boys?.... sad fact of life is, that ppl cant handle their alcohol... alcohol leads to brawling, sluggish behaviour, harrassing girls, and even killing. give me a pill and ill show you the soundest person in the world, give a pill to anyone and theyll give you nothing but pure love.
also, another sad fact of life, you say YOUR clubs are being closed down due to us drug takers, you say YOUR normal video games are now being examined for violence and stuff like that, due to 2 ppl who were the bad apples... but the fact is... no matter what there is with anything in life..... theres 2 halfs to everything and it aint like a social divide as a whole.... its all about your own personal views on things.
i.e if the US government came up to me in a club, and saw i was ed on pills, theyd drag my ass out and send me to jail or whatever, cos they think that what im doing is wrong, whereas i think they are wrong for molleycoddling with the ppl that just want to have a good time (mainly drugtakers), whilst drunkards are robbing cars, harrassing girls, fighting..... due to too much alcohol, so they dont know what theyre doing...... any person on ecstacy know what theyre doing, pills release seratonin from the brain (which is a happy chemical)... so really when your on pills, your just happy being with everyone and you love everything. fighting etc.... dosnt even come into the equation, because we're too bust enjoying ourselves.
unfortunately, we have to live by what these ing jackasses in suits hoo aint got no ing clue have to say, without clear knowledge on such issues |

i hope this flame war can turn back into a debate. anyways...
i was reading about ROAR (ravers organized against the Rave act) and i caught something that i don't understand. I decided to study a little bit about my oppostion and i am confused by this sentence.
"...Recognizing that the RAVE Act was a threat to free speech, public health, and innocent business owners, the Drug Policy Alliance launched a major campaign to stop it from becoming law..."
How is it a threat to public health? |

yes i beleive ppl with your view, WOULD be to blame... im not just saying that because im against you, but there is no need for a law on sumthing that quite clearly (to me) is not a threat in anyway shape or form....... pills and speed (club drugs) are safe and they cause less than one 16th (maybe less) of the problems that alcohol causes |
