BTW, i feel bad for all u guys that had tix and didn't get in... We waited in line for "only" 1.5 hours and made it in... but the rest were left out cold.. I would have been seriously pissed if it happened to me... I swear I would have decked one or more of the bouncers just to make me feel better.... s... hope next time they get their straight...

LOL, Durafei was talking about me;) I just had to cut the line after two and a half hours of waiting - that what other TA's did, i just got in with them:)
I think I also saw u in front of the dj booth inside the club :D |

| well, i understand that the NYPD is doing there job..i totally agree on that. but it still doesnt make any sense why advance ticket holders didnt get in... . check this out...(bare with me here) we waited 3 hrs like i said before.... and we were right near the door.. then the bouncers told everyone that only ticket holders can get in.. so,people w/o tickets started to leave... but then if you looked at the line after those people left... the line still wraped around two corners with all advance ticket holders!!!! wow.. that just shocked me that they would let that happen... i would think that a club woult send out X amount of advance tickets for advance tix and hold X amount for first come first serve. It seems that they sold way to many advance tickets??? i just hope that the club wasnt full of non-advance ticket holders that just happened to stumble into roxy, with no clue who PVD is!:whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: |

On friday, i was in a car for 9 straight hours and when we finally got to NY, we got caught up with obstacles that kept setting us back. So we got to Roxy right when PVD's set started and through an act of god, we ended up at the front of the line about an hour into his set. Even though the bouncers were trying to kick everyone out, we still stayed in line hoping for any kind of luck. Next thing i know, they started to let non ticket holders in and I almost went ape.
Although I thought what happened at PVD was definately at fault of the management and the promoters, I really thought the bouncers were idiots trying to handle the problem and it reflected the club in a very bad way.
Someone mentioned that the bouncers started telling ppl that they should just go home and they will get reimbursed when really, that wasnt true in most cases. I thought that was messed up. I think next time, just get in line super early because now we know how popular pvd is and we are just finding that out and it took us by surprise. |

Hum... don't know how to respond to that one... In no way my use of word "" was meant to be derogatory of our fellow gay TAs... Nor do I refer to homosexuals as "s"... more like Gay...
Now, if you find that is an appropriate way of describing a homosexual/gay person -then I guess it could be used as a derogatory term.
