Saddam also challenged President Bush to live broadcast debate on coming war |
This is jokes... a pay-per-view special is probably in the works!
The Bush Administration in association with the coalition of the willing VS. The Hussien Dictatorship featuring special terror goons Osama Bin Laden and his al Qaeda; Yasser Arafat and the Palestinian Authority with ties to Islamic Jihad, Hamas, Hezballah AKA Islamic Jihad, Revolutionary Justice Organization, Organization of the Oppressed on Earth, and Islamic Jihad for the Liberation of Palestine, Palestine Liberation Front; Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine AKA P.F.L.P; Abu Nidal organization AKA Fatah Revolutionary Council, Arab Revolutionary Brigades, Black September, and Revolutionary Organization of Socialist Muslims; Al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya AKA Islamic Group, Al-Jihad AKA Egyptian Islamic Jihad, Jihad Group, Islamic Jihad.
Ohh what a debate this will be... Wicked _neo, Blix and other MODS, you thought moderating this furom is hard... imagine moderating a debate with all those mentioned above involved! HAHAHAHA:haha: :haha:
Do you ugys think that Bush would take Saddam on this offer to debate out the war?!?
How can Saddam actually think he'd win such a discussion?:conf:
This is jokes...:haha: |

Saddam knows, just like everyone else, that Bush couldnt talk his way out of a paper bag.
Good luck to him though, the yanks would probably assassinate him on site anyway :p |

To be honest, I'm afraid Bush could actually lose such a debate as I still believe that in terms of pure intelligence Saddam 0wns Bush. Which, on the other hand, ain't that hard :p
I'd prefer to see Powell or Rumsfeld (yeah baby!! :toothless ) give Saddam a verbal K.O. ! |

well if it is pay per view, just make it a tag team wrestling match, Rumsfeld and Powell vs Saddam and one of his many look alikes. that could be a tough match...and how would the UN regulate that?!?!
hmm the main question is interesting tho. Bush is an idiot, but i doubt that Saddams verbal english proficiency is even that of our ol Bushisms. i dont think either country would go through with it - its just another chance for saddam to get the worlds attention away from the US. and i dont blame him. or let eminem make fun of saddams mom. i dunno| |

| bush and saddam in the same room..unlikely imo..bush has had a hard on for saddam since saddams attempt to assasinate Senior Bush..it would definatley turn out in a fist fight in which my vote goes to Bush cause he looks tougher than saddam.. |

| I think Saddam would definitely own Bush in a head to head debate, even if his english may be worse (which is also questionable). But you can always get a translator to speak for Saddam. Saddam vs. Powell would be a much more interesting match, because they're both intelligent and I would like to see that one. |

| Rumsfeld would OWN Saddam. I can just picture the rage slowly build up in Rumsfeld until he explodes and attacks Saddam a la Jerry Springer. Seriously though, this whole thing is a joke. Just another delay tactic to prolong what appears to be the inevitable. |

| I would love to see Saddam beat bush in a debate. Then maybe Bush wouldn't get re-elected, and perhaps he wouldn't have enough respect from the general population to convince is to go to war. |

Yeah, even though I consider Saddam a very bad man with warped views, he is definitely not stupid. There's a reason he seems to be smiling a lot lately: No matter what the outcome is now, America will be viewed negatively one way or the other. We will end up either being arrogant, stubborn, war-mongering s who attack other countries unjustly, or we will be cowards who will back down on our own words.
Quite a fix Mr. Bush has put us in, isn't it? Still, I'd rather be the cowardly nation that backs down than be the ruthless bloodthirsty nation that needlessly slaughters millions. |

| This wont happened, Bush allready said no to this. Bush is too much of a chicken to confront Saddam Hussein. It would be some damm good debate though, but, I guess Bush is too afraid to loose this debate and, loose the allies in order to fight Saddam. Saddam proposed it, so, at least he's got the GUTS to do it . |

Bush and his administration turned down the proposal not because they are affraid that Bush would not be able to argue a convincing case one on one against Hussien, but because they feel its just another delay tactic that they are trying to avoid by all means possible!
They dont need to debate for us to see whether or not the two sides should goto war. The US has every right to go in and take out Saddam today... they are trying to please some of the US's former buddies against Saddam. Its just better that they go in as one team, rather than have 2 different teams; which will cause grave problems for future relations between the countries of the two sides.
P.S. the two sides if its not already obvious, are those who are with America, and those who oppose America. |
