Alright....something funny happened today.
I went to the guitarcenter to upgrade my 1200 mk2 to m3d, and Donald Glaude was there! So I was chattin with him for some time, and he asked me if I needed any help with anything. (Although he doesn't work there haha) I told him that I need to buy an used m3d, but I'm afraid to buy it since it comes with no warranty. Right after that, he started scratchin the hell ouf of the turnable for like 5 minutes. (Half of the people who were in the guitarcenter at the moment came into the pro audio room to see what was going on) After he was done, he told me that there is nothign to worry about, and took out a sharpie market out of his pocket, and wrote "DONALD GLAUDE TESTED" hahahahah I ended up buying the turntable. :) |

He's just one of the main pioneers of house and one of the first technical masters in mixing 4/4-beat records. Donald is simply a legend and electronic dance music owes a lot to him.
It's sad how a lot of people think they are trance gurus but don't know about EDM history and the roots of it all. |
