....the sony v700s are too heavy and bulky for non dj use

..need something that clearly catches the highs/mids but is still strong on bass and isn't too heavy

let me know :)

Thanks

my brother has a pair of sony's that are light and are great for hearing everything.

try the 600's swamper, very light and has all the features of the 700's minus the swivelling ear cups. not sure how much they are. also look at seinheiser (sp?) theyre rated well from what ive heard.

the technics are nice....the silver ones, good for everyday use and for djing, quality sound and not too heavy

Sennheiser HD500 are very comfy
so comfortable you sometimes forget you're wearing it
base sound is a little heavy but nothing that can't be fixed with the equalizer

Hmm.. if they are for on-the-street, I'd stay away from anything that is the size of the Sony v700s, or any DJ headphones for that matter. They draw too much attention, and even if they are "lighter", they are still too bulky.

i dont have a probem with the 700's...
i use them all the time for montioring and everyday computer use.
I guess im just use to them.
