ferry corsten and gielen i agree, but Tiesto!!

That's because they are pretty much the same DJ. But this is just my opinion. Tiesto has played cheese as long as I have known of him. I saw him in excess of 5 times and always cheese. But not to say that this "cheese" is not good to hear for a night or two. you go out and have fun but please stop all this crap about a "journey" and . I might lump you in the group of the wanna be "candy kids" for this. Tiesto has never "brought me on a journey" but if he wants to foot the bill I would like to go to Bora Bora on the beach.

And the comments about this being tranceaddict and not any other addict are so lame since this area of the forum (Toronto) is not only for trance but for other parties too. People should come on here and assume that most of the other people do not know all the tunes and most people do not know all the DJs. For example, I personally don't know every en song that Tiesto played in 2000 or I do not know about all these techno DJs that are coming to Toronto. But I come here to learn about them if I want to.

I can't believe that this thread turned into another one of these fights. but i'm sure glad I never got to see what Dr. Z said hehehehe.

ok lets see... they're pretty much the same dj, now how did you come to that conclusion? i don't see them playing same songs, and in fact i have yet to see tiesto play any of gielen's productions (just like i've yet to see tiesto play any of PVD's and vice versa, but thats a whole other topic)...

this journey "crap" i won't get into, yet... maybe later...

Few really understand. I wouldn't even bother.

The "journey" was there a few years ago, but he seems to be taking everyone on the same journey over and over again, and people get bored of the same thing... we need some new destinations, new places, new tunes...
Endlesswave
Very true. However that's not to say that if a song is uplifting it's NOT new or NOT a new destination.
Dr. Z
Tiesto is getting old slowly, his energetic hormones are slowly leaving him. But I definetly don't think this is for the worse.

Hopefully, he'll become our teacher. Teach us something about the history of music, history of himself, ... some new tunes that aren't as hard...

I do hope he changes. I believe he is capable of more... (even though he is so high already) I think he can become a godly father figure to us all.

Sooooo anyway getting back to the topic of this thread for a sec ;)

Looks like the Kool Haus set times will go something like:

Addy 10p-12a

BT 12:30a-2a

James Holden 2-4

Ferry Corsten 4-close (probably 6ish)

Not sure what they're doing for that 1/2 hour between Addy and BT (setup I guess) but I'm sure there won't be dead silence...

This is the lineup I was hoping for and most people on here too from what I've read.

the journey is still there... the only thing is, now you have access to most recent sets of any visiting dj right on the net... you can find out exactly what they're gonna play, the trick is not to... don't kill that element of surprise :)

Why are you arguing with me? I was quoting TranceGeek, who first of all was talking about the wrong dj because he didn't even read the posts in the thread.

The fact that you say "Trance, it's defintely not" makes me wonder what the hell I've been listening to all these years. Sasha has never produced a trance track? hahahahaha

XPANDER YOU MORON!

Buddy, you're on the wrong msg board. You have no idea what "progressive breaks" means.

Wow, you're just full of yourself aren't you ? And I could have bet that you would have said something stupid like XPander is trance...

XPander is a progressive track. But if you want to believe it's trance, and if you want to keep believing that you know everything i'm not going to bother bursting your little bubble. You obviouly seem like someone who takes great pleasure in sitting behind a desk and calling people stupid so go ahead son, have it your way...

BTW...I'm on the wrong message board huh ? Ok, go to the GU boards (Progressive) and post a message with the title, Sasha's Bloodlock is a trance track...see what happens. For that matter, do using XPander as an example Mr.Knowitall...

(I get the feeling you like to laugh at other people but can't stomach being wrong, so on second thoughts don't do it...just remain here and continue to flaunt your knowledge over the rest of us)
