| Hmm...I'm on the final stage already and only under 40 hours into the game...:( I hope there are lots more movies or this last stage is massive... |

50hours of gameplay, 50-80 for novice rpg players. But still, I mean the game was worth it, wasn't it? |

Yes, it was worth it...but being an RPG I'd expect it to last a little longer. It took me longer to beat GTA: Vice City than it did Xenosaga :rolleyes: I've played through Xenogears twice and that game is about 2x longer than Xenosaga. I've been waiting 6 years for this game, maybe my expectations were a little too high.
Don't get me wrong though, great game. |

| yea, i mean, i like the game, i guess i was just hoping it would be long like xenogears. its hardly EVER that a game takes me over 50 hours now.. xenogears being the second longest game i ever played (90 something hours), second only to dragon warrior 7 (105 hours i think.. heh) |

| Just finished the game. The ending is just :eek: Remember the ending to Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring? Yeah...it's very much like that :eyes: I WANT EPISODE 2 NOW! |

WHOA! 105 hrs on dq7!
my records:
FF7 = 75 hrs (gold chocobos!)
Phantasy Star Online dreamcast = 90 hrs (as addictive as crack, cannot wait for xbox version |

| yea, i usually never spend that much time on the game. a lot of it was getting the super classes (like hero, superstar, etc). those things were damn fun to get. |

It's pretty simple sadly :( There is a gear summon (yes, I said gear... calling them A.G.W.S. I never liked that name) that you can get that does massive damage...I'm talking like 9999 damage here and it's not difficult to get at all. This cuts the final boss' HP instantly IN HALF. The guide claims you can't beat the game w/o it, but I found it very easy to do. Ahh, what ever happened to those days were RPGs were even moderately difficult. :rolleyes: |

anybody in here ever kill either Emerald or Ruby in FF7?
i killed Emerald doing repeated Knights of the Round, with one of my crew equipped with a special 'yellow' orb that brings your party back to life when killed
i gave up on ruby with my characters around Level 80

Yeah Ruby was a lot easier than Emerald! Emerald took me a few weeks to beat,you had to have those materia combos that one that mimiced the last KOTR summon and the final attack materia(i believe that was the one that revived the party)lol I remember mastering KOTR,I used to hammer that game. I see you're into PSO,that game is straight up crack man. I have two over lvl 100 characters probably close to 300 hours. I play during the day whenever I don't have class or work. I take a break from it on weekends and go out. LOL |
