Sasha, Digweed, Danny Howells and Jugde Jules.

You get:
Armin, Jean, Gielen & Joop

:D :D

Now thats a trade!
Too much cheesy trance here in Holland. Homelands is a bit more progressive minded i heard. I like it.

But oke, you say Homelands is e, we say Trance Energy is e. Trance Energy IS e, cause its only cheesy trance. Global Gathering is more tranceminded also?
Volksjoolz
snuggle - global gathering caters for all musical styles but specialises in trance and hard house.

Most of,if not all the comments made in this thread are from people who have never been to homelands, so i suggest you check it out and make up your own mind! :D

If you like your prog, techno & D&B then its bound to be a good fest. GG/SS are much more trancy, and if your not into trance, then (what arre you doing here?! :P) Homelands is much better!

I wont be going to homelands though, even if it is 45 mins drive.. I have good taste in music ;)

I went to Homelands in 2000 and it was great. It's just as well organised (if not better to be frank) as Summer Sound System & Global Gathering but no trance this year. If you like the lineup then go, but Global Gathering will be a lot better & have a much wider variety of music.

Also the tents don't seem to have as much atmosphere as SSS or GG (with the exception of Slinky but that aint there this year).

You'll be OK with weed once you're in there, just don't get caught taking it in. Once you're in they generally ignore you though. Trance Energy isn't e either :p Yes it's cheesy as but it's still a great night :)

Onno, just join us to Homelands! :toothless

The UK TA's are all about Hardhouse and Hardtrance, that's what Godskitchen is specialised in as well. They are too narrow minded to enjoy a festival with quality house/prog/techno/drum 'n bass music, so don't listen to them.... ;)
