I agree 100% Judge Jules easily produced the best set @ Qontact !
you can not judge him by the stuff he plays on his radio 1 show
he has to abide by certain guidelines on that show
his livesets as prooved at Qontact are a different matter
you only have to see what other TA's have posted about his Qontact Set

a good DJ will drop in well known tracks or crowdpleasers if u like
cos thats what the crowd wants ! they want to dance to tunes they recognise and love, to call those tracks cheese is ignorance
so what if they are commercial, those ppl have to eat and live too
and they want their type of music to be popular
u think they write it so only a handful of ppl hear it ?
commercial trance has its place as well as the other genres
DJ Tiesto remixed Deleriums Silence, that track hit it big time
i have not heard anyone call that cheese !
back to Judge Jules . . . his set @ Qontact was amazeing, not only did he play " commercial trance " but also dropped in several new tracks, no one has IDed track 8 of that set yet
and he plays stuff like Joy Kitikonti - joyenergizer that is an amzing track not cheese at all
he also spins mauro picotto - Verdi
ooooooooooo such a cool track

Well it happens that I don't like Judge Jules but what I don't understand is why you're always telling people their tunes are cheese when I've seen you list cheesy tunes as your faves. I have told people their tunes are cheesy but at least I know what's cheese and what's not, you don't! I saw you say Desiderio "Starlight" (Ferry Corsten Mix) was cheese, you said Jan Johnston "Flesh" (DJ Tiesto Mix) was cheese yet once I saw you list of your fave tunes and saw Airheads "Stanley" (Warp Brothers Remix)??? That is a milliion times more cheesy than theose other tunes I mentioned that you said were cheese, Warp Brothers is pure cheese! You seem to have a strange idea of what cheese is! |

that's more of what he plays on his radio 1 shows. but his actual live sets are pretty good these days. i didn't like him much back then, i can listen to him mix now. :) lol.
