i dont how many of yall got to catch this 4 mix set by the man himself on protonradio.com. but i was in blown away. this kid has mad talent and his track selection is second to none....here are the details...
"4" is simply 4 mixes that link together to make one long continuous mix, but I tried to make each mix disc still sound okay as a stand alone mix too. It's a pretty mixed up mix! It covers pretty much everthing I do in a club as well as some rather odd tracks that I wouldn't get to play out as much. The reason I did "4" was firstly just for fun & to give out to people who come & support me when I play but also because it would've been hard to convey all those styles on just one CD so "4" was born. It was mixed live with 3 decks, Pioneer CD players (the last disc uses a recently bought CDJ 1000) & DJm600 mixer. This will explain all the extra echoes on mix outs & scratches, there's no computer trickery as there wouldn't be in a club, there are of course imperfections as there would be in a club but I had a few attempts to get the discs right so hopefully there is nothing that will spoil the listening pleasure. DJing, for me is more than just mixing records. Samples (thanks Mr Tong...), live editing, looping, er... playing stuff backwards etc. You get the picture...just trying to make things interesting...

| i got all four of these suckers...i'll tell u this almost topped out James Lavelle's GU CD for my top mix album...this has some of the freshest stuff i've ever heard...i've listened to all the mixes and they are mind-blowin...this guy is seriously underestimated... |

underestimated? i'm not saying he's over rated, because by no means is he. but the man has been called the next sasha. lol
but yeah. he's the real deal. nothing but quality from him. its one thing to hear the "wavy gravy / the silence" mash-up, but its another to actually see it. too bad the link to that groovetech set is dead, i think. |

i've seen it live... SASHA played it in Hong Kong while i was there! it was massive! yes this man has been hailed the next sasha! he rocks track selection is so beautiful! |

this guy does wonder with the decks, and yes the tracklisting is awesomeeeeeeeee, he is the next Sasha, he is already big in the UK, and now he is getting known in the US and Canada.
