What defines a "Gino"?

is it:
1. Someone who dresses with european clothing.
2. Someone who goes to clubs only to get their chop.
3. Someone who likes euro/freestyle
4. Someone who knows very little about their music
I fail to understand what a gino is. I dress with european clothing, and I have gone to clubs before to pick up women.
I know people who like euro/freestyle that aren't ginos.
I know people that know very little about trance, and like it, but aren't ginos.
Since i fit into 2 of these four catagories, am I a gino? I don't think I am..
Even if i was.. why is there so much hatred towards them? Not many of us on this board are ravers. I think it would be safer to say that most of us are "clubbers". And aren't >90% of the clubbers who listen to trance, in fact ginos? :conf: |

how many gino threads are we gonna have??
ginos have all ur 4 mentioned features...but add these too:
5. they think the VW golf, Acura integra, honda civic are the only cars that are soop-a-ble
6. hat any care they own has to be sooped up or its not a car
7. think they are superior to others and can pick up any chick posible because they are italian(or portugese) and that women only dig italians(or portuguese)
8. they listen to and love z103.5
only if one has all the 8 features, they classify as a gino |

1. Usually Rude and if they feel u are invading the "space" of ther crew, tehy get Ruff.
2. Think they are God's gift to Women and think they can get your girl in a snap.
3. (Especially this happens to me) All of the Sudden like to just STAND in front of you while ua re dancing and having a great time.
4. Push you out of the way so that they can (try) to dance in your space.
5. Don't neccessarily have to be Itallian or Portugese. All nations are starting follow this trend. Like a lot of Indian PPl at my school are (humber). I am NOT kidding here! Iranians are also REALLY getting into it.
6. Like to date underage chicks becasue they think they never say "no" because of their rise in hormones at that age.
7. Spend all their money on their Car.
8. Tony Monaco Is their Idol. He is Almost 50 and is still boogying down to Freestyle songs from the 80s and early 90s.
9. DJ Danny D is their Fave DJ Cause he uses AtomixMP3 + SoundForge to make his street mixes and Crossfades Premixed CDs @ Berlin. Of course, due to their lack of knowledge about music, they can't realize that.

Graham - remember those ginos from the Hardwick party? They were trying to glowstick and stuff.... then you whipped out a pair on put them to shame :P
I think they left at like 3am :)
and Ari: maybe what Viva should do is, bring back Sean Desman.... flyer the event all over Toronto.... throw the party, and once everyone is in, lock all the doors. Then proceed to put a permanent stamp on everyone's hand that will prevent them from entering Viva ever again :) |

Save your breath. It's just not worth posting this kind of stuff on here anymore. Doesn't matter how good your argument is, or how many facts/examples you have to follow it...no one will listen :(
Apparently the status title under your nickname determines how valid your arguments are, from what I've experienced at least... |
