| heeey guys, i've noticed a certain 2 people (who will go unnamed- but are fans of the chain question thread) ;) where literally in EVERY post, they mention something bad about blondes. i was upset at first, (since i don't even know them), but now their petty insults are just funny. they are entirely judging me for who i am based on the fact that i'm blonde. sooo my question is- why is this? why do so many people look down upon our fair-haired friends, or get jealous of them? and i'm not just talking about stupid blonde jokes either, i've had a lot of people not take me seriously in my life b/c i'm blonde. so tell me brunettes, whats up!? :conf: :confused: |

hmm, let me think...btw i used to be blonde tho i think im going the way of darker hair these days. and no im not female.
i think the main thing, regardless of hair color is that most people assume people that have a fine exterior get special privledges in life without having to work for them - or at least do whatever it is a 'normal' person does in life! that might lead someone to assume that that attractive person is less intelligent, or less worthy than your average 'normie' but im not sure thats true either...
then when you assume that females are often considered hotter if blonde, or whatever you wanna say - then multiply the above by at least 5x, if not more.
sorry for the somewhat soc inspired response...i need to get the hell out of this computer lab now! good luck|now lemme tell you a great blonde joke...

Maybe it's because a lot of shallow, vain people want to be blonde so they dye their hair blonde and as a result you have a greater propensity to meet a dumb blonde than a non dumb blonde!
By the way ... you need a change your avatar ... every time I see that stomach I start drooling. It's very embarrassing at work. Hmmm actually don't change it :D |

| If a person is naturally a blonde, it has nothing to do with intelligence. Dying hair though often shows insecurity about one's true appearance and attempts to mask it. It's somewhat like silicone boobs, but to a lesser extent. |

| I think blonde being sexy is a stereo type.... and a bandwagon preference... in my experience (and this does not make it fact) blondes are the dumbest girls around; literally. IMO I think the blondes do have it easy, they get away with just their looks most of the time (though they seem to think differently) and so burenetts have to work for everything, making them stronger and more intelligent than blondes through their experience. because blondes get so much more attention burenettes learn the way the cheap world works, and in the end become more independant and self-sufficient.... |

people like you are the sole reason why i started this thread! hair color has NO correlation to intelligence. brunettes can be ditzy, redheads, and blondes...and if being blonde has such a negative stigma, why do half the brunettes i see put blonde highlights in?? and please, every brunette is stronger and more experienced than me? "working hard" based on your hair color has NOTHING to do with one's strength or personal experiences. i am extremely independent (btw you spelled that wrong) and self-sufficient...it's people like you who spread that infectious thing we call ignorance :rolleyes: |

<------ sexy!!!!! i dont really have a preference for blondes. although, i must say that the stereotype of blondes being dumb has even affected me to the point where i sometimes joke around about that...
i think sometimes blonde girls ACT dumb...wierd...just to maybe fit that image of a "dumb blonde girl"...
but then if they do that, they REALLY ARE dumb:toothless
