It's great that Marco V is comming, the beats in his songs just rip your feet off the ground... BUT
The ed up thing is that it's at Guvernment.. :mad: :confused:
It is well known that Guv is is the most ed up venue on the face of this city!!! No matter how good the DJ's are, it is just impossible to have a good time when:
1) you have to spend at least two hours in line (in and out - during winter it's even more cos of the damn coatcheck)
2) no matter how hard the music is, the place is always full of meatheads (big shirtless bastards who stink up the place with their armpits), and barbies (or so called 'clubber' chicks who are never friendly)
3) the bouncers at guv' are the biggest s in the world. They're always in your face, there's too many of them, and they don't let you breathe.
4) (last but not least) THE PLACE IS ALWAYS TOO CROWDED!!!! it takes about 5 minuntes to push yourself though the crowd into the washroom, 5 more to get the peeing spot, and then have fun finding your friends on the way back (at least 5 more) ... wtf.. :conf: :crazy: :wtf:
last time I was there for Danny Howells, and afterwards promised myself to not show up at guv again. phef.... mainstream club in downtown = total blowage. :o |

LOL..yup the thread wouldn't be complete w/o ragging on the guvernment. fawk. we are so predictable.
start a thread about a DJ coming and it will either be:
_____ sucks because trance/prog is cheesy/boring or:
too bad ______ is at the Guv. (followed by a list of why the person hates the Guv).
I think that if anyone wants to go either route in a thread, than they MUST include a funny picture or joke in their thread..cuz i'm tired of reading teh same stuff over and over again. |

How can you have a good time while rubbing against sweaty people the whole night? :conf:
so yeah, TOO BAD that it's at guv!!!! would be a hellavalot better if it was at Viva (or if it's too small then Docks or Kool Haus).
Another thing that blows about guv are the Go-Go dancers. They're pure amateurs - don't even go close with the chicks @ Viva. |

Have fun at Aria.:D I go to Guv because out of most of the times I have been there I've only had one crap ass time (LoL anybody?). We've all had spoiled nights. But I put it behind me and when I go back now it rocks. I ignore all I dislike and I end up having a good time. If you focus on the and bad parts of your night you will be gauranteed to have a time. You don't see me bitch about a lot of the annoying stuff I see at Viva do you? |
