I was more concerned with the fact that i feel that PVD defines mediocre. If i had to name any DJ that was mediocre it would be him. |

his superior mixing and tunes that no one else has, or will have...certainly define mediocrity.

when I saw him, he double beated for over 90 minutes, and bored the living out of me
as for tunes noone else has? he can keep his bloody rework of Madonna - what it feels like for a girl, it's (wouldn't mind born slippy tho :p)
just because someone doesn't want PvD, doesn't mean they want jules or gielen
more to life than vandit |

we all have off days, PvD is undisputedly the best mixer out of the big trance dj's. u always go on about that rework, me what a sin to have made a poor rework.
more to life than vandit, no , it ain't even my fave label, but i'd be interested to see whos a* if pvd's d-. |

pvd is quite deifnitely a C not D or A. As for A grqade djs, i wouldn't like to comment, i'm yet to find a dj which i consistently enjoy time after time, except maybe Picotto, but that's different. |

mentioning that grotesque piece of 3 times hardly constitutes going on about it, it's not the only rework he's done, there's a fair few......
I wouldn't say PvD's D-, hitting high C's maybe ;)
as for the DJ's I'd categorise in the A* frame at the moment ( on current form)
John '00' Fleming
Marc West
Jon O'Bir
Matt Hardwick
Dean P (resident at Frisky in Northampton)
Giotto
Gabriel and Dresden |

becasue i know he's technically a dj. but frankly i couldn't give , i like it and enjoy it every single time i hear him play, which is nowhere near enough. |

not seem west, o bir or dean p.
joof isnt great, good tho. admittedly not seen him for months
Giotto has impressed me lots, but he's been playing in the UK for about 6 months? Hardly long enough to be able to compare them.
Matt... i love him...but he's like an old shoe, he's no PvD. 5 (4 and a bit) hour set was a bit disappointing.
have u even seen G & D?
i think most of the dj's u mentioned are good, but i wudnt compare any to PvD, asides from Matt and JooF, they were unheard of when he had already hit his peak.
It seems the in thing to do in TA to slate PvD, for gods sake i don't give a shiny e if people don't like him, but when people lay into him with such bull reasons its pathetic. |

so because i think PvD is technically a good dj, that means its different for u to slag him? |
