Ticketmaster has the info up but no tix as of yet. I'd wait until they release the tix as the price could change by then. I'd almost bet that it will go up. With them being alcohol-free this month and covering the costs associated with this event (even with Goldclub helping) I don't know how they can charge so little. Not that I'd complain - hell compared to the insane price at KH in Dec it'd be a nice change!
3 hour set from Tiesto in Toronto? Doubtful. Keep in mind Luke Fair was the only other DJ scheduled to play with him at the KH in Dec and we only got what...1.5-2hrs max from him? Thank god Deko-ze answered the call and came in to close or that would have been an early night. Seriously its not that they can't spin longer, we have all seen Armin on more than one occassion spin like 4 hours at Guvt/KH. Would be nice to get a proper length set from him (3-4 hours). |

^^^^^^^^^^^ Um....Well, Luke Fair got off the stage around 1:50am last time Tiesto was here. Then Tiesto played until almost 5:10am (he was advertised at 1:30am until close, which would have been 6am which would have meant a 4.5 hour set from Tiesto. Instead, we got 3 hours and 20 minutes.:rolleyes: ) Then that Dekoze guy came on and I was out of there like a fly looking for . Not that he's a bad Dj, but I couldn't take standing at the front getting crushed anymore....I needed some air.
Anyway.....I guess it's looking like maybe 2-3 hours from Tiesto. Oh well....we only get him twice a year if we're lucky here anyway so we shouldn't complain. I don't even think he likes Toronto (but realises he has to come here every Canadian tour because it's so big) but then again, he's only doing a 3 hour in Montreal and that's his favourite here. |

As far as I know they're getting their alcohol licence back beginning of June, so they should be just fine for that event.

Nah, I don't bash DJs like Tiesto... I just don't like him now that he's gotten #1 status in the world. All that popularity hits you in the head and changes your whole view on the world, so now it seems to me that he thinks he can get away with anything (producing garbage, playing same old tunes he played last year, etc, etc)... not that much effort involved, it seems to me. |

| ^^^^^^ Oh come on man....Nyana and Ten (the instrumental version without Skin!) are WICKED tracks....and he has more unreleased stuff up his sleeve as well. Plus, his remix of Adiago For Strings is pretty damn fine as well, though not even the Master of Dance can touch Ferry's remix of that tune.:D |

i'll 99% be going even though it's on a wednesday and i have school the next day. after i heard his preformance @ Gelredome i can't afford to miss it!
only chance that i'm not going is if my parents some how find out that i in fact DO have school the next day ;) |

How old are you mate? It's a 19+ event you know? Anyway....if your parents put up a fight, tell 'em to piss off. I rescheduled my history mid term last December to see Tiesto and my mom bitched. But I'm 20 and she can piss right off!:D Sometimes you have to treat yourself to indulgent things (like Tiesto). |

LOL....that's funny . My first name is actually Ken.
Anyway...my friends are being the stingy asses they usually are and don't want to go. So, will there be a TA meetup for this and am I welcome? I would have brought my buddies along anyway...but there's no ing way I'm missing Tiesto again (like I did in October 2001 because my friends were being stupid!:whip: )
I'm into experiencing life...not accumulating material possessions.:) |
