| hmm 2.81 was to slow on my comp. im back on 2.79. lol 2.9 will probs be to much for it as well :p |

are there any improvemetns from 2.8? the only big improveemt was that you can view videos through winamp now (just like in winamp3)
And I see no bugs or anything in 2.8 as it is, so i'm going to stay with this. |

| i like it. its not slow on my system. i cant feel the difference between 2.81 and 2.9 but both are much better htan 3 |

I tried 2.9 but immediately reverted back to 2.8. A brief overview of whats new:
- Contains a media library now
- Plays videos now
- Puts all your skins in the visualization tab for some reason, leaving the skin tab empty
- Your existing skins dont skin the library window or video window so when you use those options it will look ugly
I say theres no reason to upgrade, so stick with your 2.8's, boys. |

| Im on v2.80 and its the best piece of software i have ever used next to windows 2000. So im not gonna upgrade :tongue2 |

| Winamp 2.9 is the best Winamp ever imo. It's easy to use and the difference to Winamp 2 ist, that it also supports vdieo files. Winamp 3 sucks, it never worked on my Pc. |
