While we may not be as ghetto about it, I hate to tell you this, but the majority of us living in the first world from birth til the age of 18 are given opium products at some point. Perhaps sometimes products even stronger than "heroin".

I fail to see how it would be unacceptable for the kid to smoke a pain reliever for medical reasons; if that's the only ghetto ass way they know to administer the drug, then who the are we to act high and mighty because we do it with enclosed needle systems in "fancy" hospitals?

But the kid is using it for recreational purposes. Not medicinal or therapeutic.
