But if humans have learned how to communicate with each other using radio waves and such, and having progressed to more sophisticated means of communication, why is it so ludicrous that we should one day be able to communicate telepathically?
I mean, we've learned how to send messages across the frequencies we use today, what's to stop us from sending messages across more complex/less complex?/misunderstood frequencies?
Is this is a dumb question? Smart people explain to me why it isn't that simple. |

Yeah. And that's why I'm wondering why none of you s have provided an answer yet. I KNOW YOU KNOW. |

We would have to have some sort of transmit and receive mechanisms built into our brains outside of our vocal speech. Unfortunately we don't have anything, at least at this time, that is capable of doing that. We may evolve to acquire this in the future, but at this time we have no physical means to do this. |

I don't like that answer, Ben. It sounds stupid. You're stupid. |

Ben you don't know the answer. Stop putting together fancy sentences to make it like you know. You know?
Jennie and I communicate through chips implanted in our nipples. |

Yeah but I mean, when are humans going to move beyond the chips?

Sorry Jenny, he's right... there is no way we can communicate via telepathy based on our brain structure... we simply lack any organic mechanisms to transmit or receive brain waves from/to outside sources. Is it possible that we will devise a technology that allows us to do this... I'd say not only is it possible but probable; however, that wouldn't qualify as telepathy any more then a cell phone call counts as telepathy. |
