This is the most ridiculous thing i have ever seen. Saying that we should not bash the "holy bible" assumes that we all think that the bible is holy to begin with. I do not. The bible is a book, written with human hand. Yes, the thread title is ambigious. But if you dont like what people are saying about the bible, just ignore them. |

I am pretty sure that if it wasnt our believe towards God n the first place there had been a chaos. The fear and the love towards God is what keeps us people go on with life.
The Bible had been written by a human, no doubt about that. It had been written by a very intelegent man. Who knew the people and the pwer beyond them. The Bible is something like a encyclopedia of the world we dont see. |

There's a part in right after the Ten Commandments, where God is talkin to Moses, and he says if you kill a person, your life should be taken, but if you kill a slave, you can just pay the owner some money and your sin will be repented.
the bible is full of , everyone knows that. It was written by a bunch of dudes a long time ago, no more valid than the greek myths, or the koran, or the book of mormon, or any book of BS. |

| The bible is a test to the humanity. You must understand it first to talk about it. There are many said things in there that sound stupid, but there is always something thats hiden in the passages. There are people who are stydying it and say there are a lot of true and offcourse a lot of mystery. Thats what proffesors are saying not popes or anything. They say that the Bible have true meaning of life in hiden way. You need to discover it all to understand. What you read is not that whole true. |

all i know is that no "metaphysical representation" of me (a soul) will be tortured for all of eternity for not fully trusting a vague, contradicting book writen by HUMANS, just like thousands of other religious texts.
