Trance is not dead, it will never die!

And what's wrong with cheese in a little moderation? I don't understand what you people have against Circ - Destroy She Said for example.. That is one powerful track! Instead of immediately classifying music into genres when you hear it, just in' enjoy it
!

And in anycase, there have been SOOOOO many awesome trance tunes released this year that I can't even begin to count them.

I agree, even if somethingis considered Cheese, who cares as long as you enjoy and can dance to it!

I dunno.. I like it, and everyone I was with at Aria that night loved it as well. True the vocals are very cheesy, but whatever..

I dont see how its really any cheesier than any other epic trance. I mean it didnt stand out in his set or any other trance set for that matter.

I think basically people who don't like trance say that anything with vocals is cheese.

The video isn't even cheese, its ing raw milk cheese with e coli in it that's rotten, yet someone thinks you'll still eat it!

Trance is far from dying. Because people evolve musically and have found that other genres suit their personal tastes better doesn't mean that the genre is dying. About half of the DJ Mag's Top 10 DJs are Trance DJs. What does that say about the state of trance? (lol sorry couldn't help it) That tells me that Trance is still king. Why? Because a load of people voted for Trance Djs because they play the music they like.

IMO, I think that Trance is a genre that draws in alot of new fans, Ie it serves as a portal into electronic music. Some of these people will move on because they discovered another genre that suits their personal tastes better. Loosing these people will not reduce the impact of Trance on the electronic music landscape. That's my opinion anyhow!

I certainly dont think that all songs with female vocals are cheese. As a matter of fact I like lots of trance songs with female vocals. And there are more than a few progressive songs with femcals that progheads like. I am just pointing out that all the people on this site are ragging this song as if its really in a class of its own. I mean is it really different that songs like southern sun, klea- tic toc, oceanlab - sky falls down, any jan johnson or matt darey song... (and I could go on) I really really dont see a difference. I am not even saying I really hate the song. I really dont mind it actually and im not afraid to say it. And I seem to remember a little comment by you in the car too! ;) ;) ;)

Well said! Throughout my years of listening to electronica I've noticed my choices changing too, ranging from drum N bass to hard house~ thank god i'm over that!! It's all about the progressive and breaks for me :eyes: :eyes:
