your location is Montreal right? so the only way you can know what going on hear is from CNN and letme tell you that with all the respect to CNN they don't show all the picture i know that Palestinians kids are being killed but beleive me that's not the israeli pepole wish. what happends the arab terrorist using the kids (they sending then to the front for world public opnion) the israeli soldier is standing in a difficult situation arabs shooting at him so if he wants to live he must shoot back and kids get heart , and you know next year i'll be in the army hear in israel the low says when you turn 18 you must recruit and there is a big chance i'll be sent to the front and i will be in those situation you know so there is also a chance i'll heart kids you think that what i want ? come on what you said ''If Isrealis kill Palestinian kids , then Palestinians will kill Israeli kids'' . - come on man these are not a words of a smart man that what you truly beleive?

| its sad to hear like that especially at a place where people are out to have fun ...and not fight........ there isnt really no one to blame everyone is wrong and right in this world...... people can blame Palestinens or the Isreales...but both have legitement reason to blame the other or vise versa.... ... but its kinda messed up hearing about the bombing in a night club when its a place for people to forget about stupid and have fun! |

HAve you ever seen how those palestinian "kids" run with rocks and throw them at the soldiers? noo you were too busy watching how the Israeli soldiers PROTECT themselfs from getting killed by those kids, who infact get brainwashed from the time they can talk. And you know what they are being taugh? " Allah is the all mighty... and what ever allah says you gotta go, and in their case allah says go throw rocks at israeli military and once u get old enoght, strap a bomb and go blow up as many israelis as you can, cuz by killing an israeli your gona go to heaven " When infact blowing yourself up (suicide) is a SIN, and killing people is a SIN too. Thats not the point. If I would be a soldier, and I would see a group of kids running up to me with rocks, getting ready to litteraly kill me, I would DEFENATLY shoot back at them.
Now, that crazy guy blew up teenagers who were waiting inline to go to a CLUB... to DANCE and HAVE FUN... they were NOT trying to kill anyone that night, they are NOT a threat, to ANYTHING that has to do with islam and the bull that they have. This bombing is very serious, and Israel WILL relatiate, they will destroy many houses in the Gaza sector, and many more people will be killed and hurt. the muslems know that, but they dont care, cuz their ultimate wish is to kill a jew. |

did you know that all of our actions are a response to their terorist acts? we usually attack their military units, but when they kill our citizens we don't hesitate to shoot them when the shoot on us first, and really don't understand those arabs who send their kids to stand on the front line, so they will have good videos to send to the CNN.
all the things they tell the CNN is one a big bull. you guys say we don't want to give them for peace? we offered them last year a huge part of israel, including parts of Jerusalem!!! but they didn't accept, you give them a finger and they'll want the whole hand.
arafat is a terorist, he's saying that he's willing to make peace and that's his goal and like that, meanwhile he order the Jihad and the Hizbullah to kill our people and take terorist acts, it's things they don't broadcast in the CNN, but's that's the real truth, and by the way, if you didn't know we called a one sided cease-fire, and we stopped all our military actions againt their terorist bases, and look what happend on friday. |

It doesn't help that the belief that you'll go to heaven in an act of terrorism (like just happened) exists. I have a huge problem with that, since it perpetuates the situation.
Like someone said, neither are willing to budge an inch. Everyone wants to point fingers, and no one wants to work towards a solution. I hear media bias this, extremists that, examples here and there of how each is right or wrong. The past is not the issue here, it's the future.
Acknowledge its f**ked up, life's not fair, and figure out a solution. Both sides will have to give up a lot, and do it simulatenously, or it will never end.
Its like two little children fighting. I think the UN or a specially appointed council (like after WWII) should step in and solve it, since it clearly can't be solved themselves. |
UN. Sadly, it has no global authoritive power to coerced warring countries under international martial law, unless US decides to step in. US is their Main and only firepower. |

Very True. I agree. They're ing crazy to throw rocks at soldiers...they're asking for it. The uni-bomber is a martyr to them... die for the cause. A palenstian will kill himself so Israelis will die. They're fanatic! There will never be peace. They will always want more land. Israel compromises by giving more land & they want more. Meanwhile they can go to 6 other arab/muslim countries.
I feel a war coming on. |

what i know from this war is during the 1940's Israelis moved from Europe and landed in Palstine by force to claim it to be their country (I know this bcoz I am in England, who were behind this move). And imagine what it would be like for you if someone invades your country and claims it to be theirs.
Personally I think it is absurd whats happening and what should be done is to remove any barriers and make it one whole country for both arabs and israelis and one unified army under one country.
That way they could keep both parties happy. But making borders, violence and killing from both sides will get this war goin on and on..
again i don't live there to judge what IS happening, but I can say that BBC will give a clearer picture than CNN. plus, from what I saw on a BBC interview with one of the israelis or arabs there, one guy, he said that arab men dont drive their children forward.. the kids (10 year olds to 14) do it voluntarily and when they get killed their families are enraged and start this "bombing", causing more violence.
but u guys who live there know better. all i see is a pointless war. |

| k guys lemme fill u in abit i live in "gilo" its a neighborhood in jerusalem who's constantly in attack by palestenian fire and listen to what they say, they complain about being holded in their contry (palestine) and they say they want the terretories once conqured by israel to all of u who who think we claimed this terretory by our will its wrong the arab countries around us opened a war against israel and those terretories were conquered only for security reasons at start after the arab public began requesting those terretories back after its all fill with us and they didnt actually requested they demanded it by killing us... we today offer them 95% of the terretory but the idea is they want all israel and it wont stop... anyway i think we are the ones who are being held in our houses cause most people are frightnend to get out of their homes malls and clubs are empty and thats kind of the situation from every way u look at it... thanx for dedicating this thread its really important |

That's right Paul , imagine a bunch of foreigners coming to England , kick the English people out and tell them this is not your land .
It's absurd , Arabs have nothing against Jews , in my country Morocco both Arabs and Jews live in harmony , they've never been any conflicts between them , so please stop saying that Arabs hate Jews . If there's a problem , it's betweem Palestine and Israel (not Arabs and Jews) .
Israel made a big mistake by voting for Ariel Sharon , all he wants is war , he doesn't care about peace . Imagine Yasser Arafat walking in the Wailing Wall (i hope it's the right word because i've translated it from french) wouldn't that be a big provocation ?
What does Israel expect after invading their country , busting into their houses and throwing them out in the streets ? Do you think that Israel will fight without being at least hurt ?And try to compare between both sides.. you said "Fire and stones", "More stones", "The rocks..." , While you Israel is using real weapons like guns, rocket launchers, canons, air attacks etc ...
And please stop crying rivers by telling me CNN shows this and that bla bla bla whatever , i've lived all my life in Morocco and i know what's happening in the Middle-East.
