dj sammy, you gotta respect this guy, hes all about the money and thats what we call a go-getter, he does not promote drugs so hes pretty much parentally approved, he also has a way with the masses, no other dj can put out sounds like heavan and make it on the billboards 100 singles chart, and i cant remember the last time people verbally attacked him? can you? |
I saw him spinning in Mallorca 2 years ago, and my friends and I were all quite sure he was on :eyes:
btw have you ever seen a dj that DOES promote drugs? I know I haven't:rolleyes: |

| That's what I was saying boys and girls.....PERSONALLY, I respect Tiesto, Armin, PvD, Ferry and Matt Darey the most because their tunes/remixes/mixalbums/livesets are the best I've heard and reflect the kind of electronica that I like. So...I have the most respect for them and not for people like Sasha, whom I find to be boring. |

Brian Transeau for me.. :p
From musical point of view, no-one is even close to him, nor is as innovative. Brian, on the other hand, progressed from style to style, from experience to exeperience, and never "sucked", for I found likeable even compositions in the styles that I appreciated not. Sasha is a good guy overall (shame for being a junkie), but to my knowledgde (on musical plan) most of his tunes are co-authored and co-produced, making him worth just a littl e bit less than BT in my eyes.. :( |

All of 'em. It's all about the music, not the man. They all get my respect. :D
Extra props to sasha for hitting the bullets and still mixing great (from what I hear - never seen a DJ live. :()

I don't think respect has anything to do with how much you enjoy their music. I'm not a big Prog fan, but there are a lot of Prog artists that I respect. It's more than just the music, it's how you conduct yourself as well. |
