| I have a ton of respect for Paul Oakenfold. Why? Well for one thing he practically invented trance, and his 1999 essential mix tour certainly made trance what it is today. More importantly I respect him for what he did with Bunkka. A lot of people said that he sold out when he made this album, but he just made the kind of music that HE HIMSELF likes, back to his own musical roots so to speak. Personally I dont like Bunkka one bit, but thats not the point, the point is he took his music in a new direction when he couldve easily rested on his trance 'laurels'. |

As far as character goes I like PvD and I havent heard a bad story concerning him. When he played hear in Tx he signed autos, he signed at least four things for me alone, played an encore even after they told hi to turn it off, and shok hands took pics and everything the man is a good guy as far as I can tell. Musically I would have to agree with Sasha because I dont hear people bashing Sasha at all, I mean I can't recount anyone dissing him, I just can't. |

Sasha !!!
He is the best mixer in the world. He makes quality music. He isnt commercial. His music is unique. He knows so much about electronica compare to other big name DJs.. |
