I've been hearing lately from many people that Tiesto and Armin dislike each other these days.
So tell me Montrealers....how did they greet one another? Any hugs or handshakes or was Tiesto gone and Armin was suddenly there? |

Actually, it was battle royale in the booth, Armin paid some girl to sabotage his set, and then she tried to jump in the booth and assassinate him, luckily Aria's bouncers are amazing and Tiesto paid them extra well. Tiesto got him back by playing all his songs right at the end for an extra 45 minutes! |

I showed up to Amir, only to find out that AVB just left. DOH!
I said hi to some girls at Amir (one of them was a TA?) and told them to keep me a spot in line at Aria. But we didn't need it! wuahahaha!

sorry i didn't say hi to more TA's at amir, i guess unexpected shyness really hit me, but it was nice to put some faces to the names.
I had an awesome night, despite the heat, and the trip up with the speakers during tiesto's set. unfortunately i think the heat had gotten to me bad by armin's set cuz i couldn't really get into it, and the energy level of the crowd tanked by then which didn't help much. but tiesto's set was a blast. met some awesome people that night, lots of positive energy which is nice.

Great reviews everyone, I think you all covered most of my feelings about the night as well. I had as amazing time and somehow lasted right until the end. I think it was more the discomfort of my dripping clothes that turned my night so uneasy, but the music was incredible. Is it possible that I heard Cor Fijnmen - Exibition. I had put it on cd that same day, but I'm sure i heard it played by Tiesto.
Ps. Sorry Preach for not showing the next night in Ottawa, I wasn't expecting to stay as late as I did in Montreal, and by the time I did get home, all I could do was try to recover, and so i missed your call. Next time we'll hook up and I'll show you some better Ottawa hospitality. Peace. |
