hmm, thats weird, everyone here sees buying records as an expense, as a drawback... i don't, i'm actually happy i'll throw cash at records, cuz money is just that, money, if you don't spend it there, you'll spend it on some other bs, might as well buy something you are going to enjoy and love...

i think everyone here loves the music just as much as you do otherwise they wouldn't be buying vinyl......
if they are like me i wish i could buy all the records i want in a month and not have to eat KD to make up for the budget. its not really complaining, its realizing your situation... know what i mean? :) |

The 'everyone' that you and i were refering to was the everyone in this thread who actually buy's vinyl.
you are right that it is a matter of choice how you spend your money, but some people have more financial responsibilities than others.....
if i didn't buy any of the vinyl i have now i would have enough to buy a pretty sweet car! but i'm not upset about it, i just wish i could have both.... but the choice was mine and it has been made!

Of course it's my choice what to do with my money, but right now I can live without vinyl... maybe if I land a higher paying job, I'll spend more on vinyl, but some of us have other financial responsibilities, and wasting all the $$$ on vinyl would be just stupid.
