pretty cool....although i recomend you get rid of that thing quickly before someone gets themselves hurt. just kill the thing(or put him outside depending on how nature conscious you are) but be very careful when doing it(obviously) we dont need any dead TA's

and they call me paranoid over in the political forum. I had to get within one foot of it to take the picture. and no, they don't just live in australia, i see em all the time in canada. I think you've found your new avatar julie!
I don't have the balls to kill it, if it was sitting on the ground yeah, but hovering in the air like that with the web, if i smack it it might just fall on the ground and charge my ass.
oh did i mention i was downstairs on the concrete floor in just my boxers taking the picture? |

Dont be so afraid of it. Black Widows are very timid and will run before they bite, and only bite really when cornered. If you want to kill it, just get a can of lysol spray or something and give it a good blasting and you should kill it off. youre also pretty safe if you get a fly swatter or something, whack it free of its net then stomp it. If your really paranoid, wear long pants/shirt, gloves and long socks, so that no skin is exposed, and you should be fine.
Its best you kill it quickly tho so it does not lay eggs in your house, and you wind up getting them everywhere  |

| heheee. nrjizer's right. a black widow's not gonna attack you. i see plenty here where i live. just dont with it and it wont with you. they'd much rather be eating small insects than biting a human. just find a shady place outside and put it there. the guy'll be happier where he can feast on other wildlife. |
