As far as bill oriely goes he's not as much as a tool as most of the guys he critizes for being a tool, but he's still got the republican agenda at heart at least imo.
As far as ludicris goes not only is he not in the top 5 in rappers in the eyes of most of america, but even if he was stars can affect what kind of clothes you buy, but personnaly I drink the soda that tastes best, not what the comercials say, and I'm pretty sure 99% of the world does the same. |

hey i enjoy and listen to hip hop...real hip hop that is...so that makes me a fake tranceaddict? just because all the other morons on this site hate on hip hop just because they're so called "tranceaddicts" and anything else other than trance is doesn't mean u have to jump on that bandwagon and hate on hip hop
granted a lot of hip hop nowadays is but those artists don't represent hip hop and its history, its ups and downs as a whole...so you got a lot to learn u n00b :rolleyes:

No, Bill O'Reilly has the TRUTH agenda, and that's exactly what he preaches. Doesn't matter if you're a right-wing or a lib, he'll call your ass out if you up. I see what you are saying, but I justr see it differently, I guess :shrug:
not in the top 5 rappers? When did this list come out, and when did people start becoming spokespersons for this supposed list?? I must not have gotten that memo. And I'm telling you, especially regarding young, black youth, who are BY FAR (studies have shown) the most easily swayed by advertisements (think Nike, Reebok, McDonald's, etc.....the list goes on), there is a good number of them out ther that WILL buy the simply b/c Ludacris sponsors it. You may think that 99% of the world would drink what they think tastes good, but I'm telling you, not 99% of black youth would. |

maybe because majority of young black youths have to grow up living in poorer areas where in most cases they receive less quality standards of living and education...they look up to these people as idols to help them endure throught he hardtimes |

Ok, I guess Bill Orielys not that bad, cuz he will call out the right wingers who up, but he's still swayed by his political ideology imo.
And while im no spokesperson for rap, my coment on ludacris not being top 5 is based on my own view point as well as that of all my hip hop listening freinds. |

This isnt really related to the topic, but few things piss me off more than these statements. I dont think its true, I think that most of the music thats "spoonn fed to the masses" is music that is simply promoted properly and appeals to a large portion of society. Just because a lot of people like a song, and said song is played on mtv doesnt mean its being force fed. It might mean it was designed to appeal to many many diffrent people, and be relativly simple, and very catchy as to attract more people to it, but that doesnt mean people listen to it because its cool. When everyone listens to the same rock group people say its force fed, when everyone listens to a certain dj, people just blab about how good he is. I'm gonna stop now because I dont really know if im conveying what I'm trying to say properly. |

Bill O'Rielly is the best thing cable television has going for it. Ludacris just can't stand the fact that he fell victim to a more-intelligent, more savvy O'Rielly.
Ludacris can piss and moan all he wants - sounds like he's beginning to realize he's just a passing phase.
Hip hop is almost dead anyways. |

Hip Hop will never be dead as long as artists like Mos Def and Outkast are still making records. Has anyone heard the songs on any album produced by these artists. Some of the songs break virtually every rule that the current tread of hip hop songs adhere to.
Im not really a fun of hip hop, but there are some real gems to be found if you look hard enough. There will always be bad models for any musical genre, no matter how hard other artists try. |

| in my opinion its just a phase, such as how grunge rock was popular in the early 90's it pretty much lost its appeal towards the mid 90's! Now will "hip hop" die after 10 years? no it will be around but most likley not mainstream. and i do agree with the coment about the quality music that is being played on tv/radio, seems like you dont have much exposure except what you see or hear on the tv/radio! |
