I think this is the simple truth that you need to realize. What you have "proposed" in terms of tighter border control is irrational, unjustified, immature, unplanned, not thought out, and uncalled for. I believe that time and again, you have been given the chance to explain your ideas, yet all you can talk about is the Mexican infestation that the United States currently suffers from. This is an innsufficent reason, in the eyes of this board, to raise border patrol to the level that you have suggested. Ergo, you are being flammed. You must realize that most of the people that are part of this board are liberal, open minded, free thinking people. Now, no one is saying that you shouldn't be posting your ideas. We do enjoy having a debate. But, to come to ANY internet forum, especially one so liberal as this one and openly insult a peoples is uncalled for and wrong. I believe that you do not have the capacity to argue this point out, especially not after all that has happened. So I am asking you, for your sake, and for the sake of this forum, to please end THIS conversation right here, right now.

First off i will try to do this whitout insulting anyone.
I am hispanic and proud of it. Speak three different languages being: English, Spanish, and Japanese. I was born here parents are from Guatemala. Parents are very hard working. For as far as i can remember my mother had two jobs to help my father pay for the bills. Father works froms Mon to Sat 10 hours a day. They are hard working people like any other immigrant who came here looking for a job, but why did we come. True history shows that the American government and its central american puppet government's robbed the people of what it had. American companies bought off the land in our countries destryoing the poor farmers attempting to compete with them forcing them to immigrate. But immigration is a double edged sword either way. It provides jobs to the immigrants but also at what cost, when they don't have any rights as workers. When abuse is rampant and nothing can be done to protect them. You speak of immigrants as vagrants, yet immigrant labor pumps billions of tax dollars into the U. S. economy each year. Not only that but they also send millions of dollars back keeping the South American countries afloat.
So next time get your information right. Don't be so close minded and you might learn something.

Wow completely missed this topic ...
I'm with Vesa on this one. I'm all for immigrants to America, because after all, America was founded as a nation of immigrants. Personally I think the typical Mexican immigrant is hardworking, and come here for the opportunity to work and make something out of their lives. If they're so lazy they could just as easily have been lazy in Mexico rather than risk their lives to get over here. However, I have 2 problems with illegal immigrants. A) They enjoy public goods yet fail to pay for it. And B) crooked companies can illegally profit off of illegal immigrants and fail to pay for it. Yes illegal immigrants pump money into the economy by spending, but wtf ... so do I. If I'm taxed to pay for education, roads, medicare, etc., then so should they. If honest companies are forced to pay minimum wages, employee benefits, etc., then so should the companies that profit off of illegal immigrants. So either the INS does a better job of controlling and admitting immigrants into the country (they should legally admit more), or much like Vesa stated, the government cracks down on companies that profit off of illegal immigrants. |

You say there have been hundreds of people killed by ‘illegal’ Mexicans. How’s that different from the hundreds of thousands of people killed by illegal European emigrants before them?
All people of European descent living in the US would be the illegal ones would they not, considering the place was colonized at the expense of the natives.
I see too you deem American lives as more important than others (I’m assuming here, you said “I have respect for human lives…I wouldn't want Americans dying.”) oh, and by that do you mean white Americans, or the native sort, i.e. Mexicans, etc.?
You say thousands of people have been killed due to open borders, I say hundreds of thousands of people have been killed due to US involvement in things like the Gulf War (300,000 deaths, mostly civilian Iraqis because of the terrorists in the White House who gave the go ahead for the war).
As for your age, you’ve got a mental age of about 10 from what I’ve read. |

Allright dude. You've got a ing problem. I was reading through and I stepped to this post, you ing moron!!!!!!!
First of all. Im not mexican or anything, but if you look back in history, all that land, California, Texas and all the western states were MEXICAN!! and if you look at history, who took it away from them?!?! Americans, so dont ing come here and say that they arent even allowed to live in America, the Americans even made a pact with the mexicans for them to live in America, but they had to follow certain ruled.
Secondly, Florida was owned by Spain, and because of a treaty with Spain or war, Florida became part of the US, same with Lusiana and bunch of other states. The Spanish have always lived in the US, so have the majority of other imigrants ( Germans, Dutches, French etc etc ) Just study a bit more and look at the name of the cities and such.
Thridly, the UNITED STATES is called the "American Salad" or "Melting Pot" because of the many nationalities and so on.
Although English is the main language of the US, I dont know if its the official.
Another thing, all the Spanish people that come to the United States have made the economy so much better with all the jobs they create with the various buisnesses and commerce.
All in ALl. YOU ARE A ING HIPOCRITE, ARROGANT, and non educated, you are LOWER then any of those Mexicans crossing over the border.

So true, but to answer for a solution to all the illegal imigrants problem. The US should make an Amnesty and know who lives here and who doesnt, therefore, they will also pay taxes, pump the economy even more, and not have those companies making profit the wrong way from the illegal imigrants. |

Oh yea definetely, hehe deporting the people living here now (unless they committ crimes) would be virtually impossible and pointless. Give everybody a certain time limit to gain amnesty, gain citizenship, and become a patriotic tax paying american. Then those that don't step forward are either criminals or crooks looking to avoid paying taxes who should be deported. Then revamp the INS so that the system actually works and we can actually control the flow of immigrants into the country at a controlled rate so that we avoid humanitarian crises, slum habitats, etc. |
