In all honesty, about 95% of the time I've seen people drooling in front of the person doing their thing with the glowsticks, being all ed up on some drug going, "WHOAAA...that is so kewl." It is kinda correlated with drugs...just like dance music, and lasers, and tranceaddict... LOL
peace.

| there is no such law that states glow sticks arnt aloud in clubs. but on the other hand, clubs are banning them because it does attract un-wanted attention from the law. many big club around the US are being shut down for to much drug activity and the Law does consider glow sticks as drug paraphernalia. |

so if i dress up as a candy raver, wire myself with glowsticks and go riding my bike around town with techno blaring at medium volume out of my portable stereo, will the police hunt me down and arrest me for breaking the law?
if i know, but it seems like we're moving towards the direction that some of the most famous sci fi writers talk about, when we get more and more restricted by the government 'for our safety'. if people want to take drugs, they'll take them, no matter if it's illegal or not. |

| Actually I believe that thats not quite correct. In America there are laws that outlaw the possesion of drug paraphenalia. Glowsticks are considered now by some law enforcment agencies to be drug paraphenlia, and therefor illegal. I believe this is what the first post was referring to. |

Wrong my friend. There are laws that outlaw the possesion of glowsticks, somewhere down south I believe. The article was posted in the chill out room sometime last year if you want to take a look.

Yes, there are laws that outlaw the posession of drug paraphenalia. Right here in my hometown of Pittsburgh they were doing busts on stores selling bongs and lighters with marijuana leafs on them recently. LoL, some of the undercover agents were talking to the people who bought the paraphenalia and tried to sell them some weed...so they were arrested on the spot. |

there's also laws that you can't do someone up the butt, and that you can't have sex until you are 17.
no one inforces them, quit spassing out about stupid laws. |

| Actually a recent supreme court ruling in effect has struck down laws that ban anal sex. |

i guess everyone's forgetting that glowsticks are as much rave paraphernalia as pacifiers and soothers are.
glowsticks are used for other reasons, lighting areas mostly, because they work underwater... and I also saw an ad on tv about a glowstick kit for car emergencies...
come on, let's face the reality. glowsticks are as much drug paraphernalia as surgeon masks are (*remembers the post about what people wear to raves... ROTFLMFAO!) |
