Seriously Asking a Girl Out..

hello ladies and gents. there is a girl whom i know who i have had my eye on for quite sometime now. we met in English class (which blew chunks) and we exchanged each others email adresses. we also signed each others yearbooks, each writing our phone numbers in them. recently, ( 1 day ago :p ) we went to see a movie, as friends. now, i would really like to ask her out, and i'd like to do it in a way that is cool and confident, not hoping she will date me out of pity.
i have thought of one scenario. she told me she was single about a month ago. to my knowledge i think she still is single. my plan is:
the next time we do something i shall be all like "hey are you still single" and she will be all like "yes/no". if no, i shall say "good for you". if yes, i shall be all like "how would you like to not be single anymore, and date me?"
corny maybe, but hopefully it will work. i would appreciate any advice anybody could give me. as well, all the girls on TA please respond, as your input is Key!

| Girls are not so dumb ... if she says yes than you can just ask her out to dinner or to go out and she'll get the idea. No need to be captain obvious about it. Subtelty goes a long way. |

"hey wats up... would like like to go out with me [insert TIME PLACE WHATEVER]
None of this oh im so cool .. cause she will sense if from a mile away...
And don't ask her if she is still single.. cause by asking her out you will get the info... and if she goes "ohhh you mean like on a date..."
Say.. "sure why not..."
Thats how to play it cool...

| well, we've already gone to a movie, as friends. so if i ask her, "yeah wanna do this, that, then etc." she may think that it'll be on the same terms as teh first time. therefor if i make a move then, it'll creep her out because she may still think we're on a "friends level". so i gotta make it a little obvious..know what i mean? |

Don't talk to her or phone her
instead, write her a letter and send it to her mailbox mentioning how she's "the " and treat her to an expensive restaurant such as mcdonalds or dairy queen...
she will fall in love with you... trust me... it works, already tested out and TA-approved ;) |

lol something tells me this will never die...i sweaer in like 30 years ill have forgotten about ta altogether but somehow ill still remember this..(btw u forgot that to write a letter like that u must be 25+)
anyways i say just keep asking her out as friends and see if she seems interested..try doing it with just the two of you and see where it goes, if she likes you then things will work themselves out |
