buying an mp3 player

Hey guys I need some help with something... I'm looking to purchase an MP3 player and I was wondering what you guys have been using for this. I'm not looking to spend TOO much although I am strongly considering buying myself an iPOD.. so im looking for some suggestions as to what you guys think i should look at.

| I have a 10 gig Ipod and it's great, the only thing i guess you could complain about is it's battery life. But then putting the thing in shuffle and letting it choose from hundreds of songs does rule. |

I got a Samsung Smartmedia card with two 32mb's and well .... it sucks for my usage ( large amounts of music and long listening times don't work with this thing )
Recently I got an iriver 350 seems like a pretty standard mp3 cd drive. I searched for a mp3 cd drive for the longest time and this is possibly the best pick.
Now as far as hard drive based mp3 players it does appear that the ipod is the best choice.
Now you gotta choose what you wanna do with your mp3 player. |
