| Apparently Ishkur's new electronic music guide will be back up soon. Opinionated to be sure, but very, very useful and entertaining. |

Well, I'm not gonna speak about all sub-genres because the post would be huge, so I'll just be brief and skip the recommendations because I'm in a hurry and I wouldn't have time to look for all the names anyway :)

Great! Thanks for the info. |

hey, nice chart! |
Amen to that, looks like it took some work, as well as research. |

| Someone posted a link to some site that has sound clips of all genres a while back, which was good too (even if they had Rank 1 - Airwave down under the heading "This is NOT trance:whip: "). |

That was Iskur's list. Iskur's very anti-trance (which pisses me off), but he is right about Airwave being a crap song. |

Thanks for the comments :) The fact is that the chart posted here is still a draft - there's still some things I'd like to re-organise and I mean to finish the guide someday, but I've been busy lately :p
As for Ishkur's guide, he's not anti-trance at all (in fact, if you read the guide, you'll notice he likes acid trance, for example). He's just not fond of build-ups and that formula that seem to be used in every single epic track (intro beats, intro synth, build up, anthem, get back to the "intro beats" part, the "intro synth" comes once again, yet another build up, anthem for the second time, final beats). And in another note, why do you get upset just because of someone else's opinion on music? Could you imagine what would happen to me if I decided to argue with everybody who doesn't like Happy Hardcore? ;) He's stating his opinion on every genre just for fun... after all, if music were supposed to be something so serious, we would have summit meetings on techno music and economical development rather than rave parties. |

I'm still trying to figure out where hardstyle came from. Seems like a blending of anthem trance and hard trance, so I was leaving it as a form of hard trance.
Hardcore: these lads you mentioned shall be under the "gabber" section, as far as I know :) I reckon there are some gabber sub-genres, but I still need to work a bit more on them :p |

Da, ty prav :) U menya byla ochen' simpatichnaya podruga, kotoruyu zovut "Kotėnok" :D I might rename the music to "Northern Eyes" though, but I'm afraid it sounds weird in English :p |
