Apparently Ishkur's new electronic music guide will be back up soon. Opinionated to be sure, but very, very useful and entertaining. |

| I'm a bit disappointed that techno music artists like Underworld, Orbital, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, etc. - are under Big Beat. I always considered them to be Techno. More headache to my already complicated classification of electronica music ... :sadgreen: |

Chemical Brothers (except for "Hey boys! Hey girl!" and maybe a couple of other tunes) and Prodigy (the newer stuff) are indeed big beat. As for Underworld and Orbital, it depends on what tune you're talking about :)
In any case, if you want techno, get something from Adam Beyer of Jeff Mills and you'll see the difference ;) |

Chemical Brothers and Prodigy techno... I swear I have friends who'd beat you up for saying that :p
Umek
Chris Liebing
Danilo Vigorito
Robert Natus
Adam Beyer
Cari Lekebusch
Thomas Krome
Gaetano Parisio
Stanny Franssen
Now there's some techno for you... |
