im sure edgar gets promos from paul and many other labels since he's a 'professional' dj and i understand that it was nu nrg night[vandit] and edgar probably seen many peeps with vandit t-shirts on and wanted to unleash some pvd tracks on them.. but droppping 3 in a row was a bit silly.. he could have played those 3 tracks in different order, with the crowd then bring em out one by one during his 3hr + set.. |

| maria, arturo and anyone else who was objecting to my post about EV droppin pvd tracks...like i said before it was dope hearing them live in a club, yes i was singing to crush :haha: :haha: but like tek said and if im not mistaken i did hear 3 in a row or maybe even 4 from EV that was paul paul paul. i just thought it was funny that EV dropped so many tracks in a row, at one point i just said to myself, damn EV sweats paul and vandit productions. granted him and paul are friends and they both play on the same night and give miami a great rep. im not hating on EV at all, i thought his set was better than nu-nrg's, i actually enjoyed it...no flame here just explanation =) |

I'm on the other end, as to how the DJ thinks...and beleive me Edgar wants and likes to please his crowds. Who cares if he played 3 or 4 tracks in a row...its a minute detail that doesn't deserve this much discussion. Many so called "fans" fail to realize that its hard to stand up in that booth and face the crowd and think "I have to please each and every one of these people and make sure they all have a great night". Thats the way Edgar thinks. And As for EV sweating Paul, I beleive you phrased it very incorrectly. Edgar respects and admires Paul's work, and as I mentioned before, he plays PVD's stuff becuase PVD provides him with the tracks way before anyone else has them.
It would be pointless for me to go back and forth with this topic. I respect everyone's opinions when they have the facts to back them up. Granted, not too many people are aware of or even know how PVD works with Edgar so I don't blame anyone for making ignorant comments. But I do believe if PVD were to read these posts he'd definitely have a field day. Thats just my two cents on the subject.
Oh and another thing...Edgar was the resident DJ for Club Space for 2 years, then continued to do afterhours and made that club into the success it is today. Not to mention he just signed an exclusive contract as resident to Crobar Miami, one of the hottest clubs in South FLA. He must be doing something right.
