The last hour of Edgar was hot.
he dropped Tom's songs, that was so cool!

nu nrg started off weak but they did some really solid work in their second half.

i had a blast last night...im not going to go nuts with the review coz i'am soo tired....so its just going to be short and sweet ;)
went to nu nrg's hotel, met with them..very cool guys, also met edgar v...he was really nice and he kicked my ass at arc too hehe..went to dinner, met with a bunch of crazy , radical ta's...you know who you all are, very nice meeting everyone...went to arc, went nuts, danced my ass off until 8:00 when there were only 12 guys on the dance floor...nu nrg kicked my ass last night, went home , crashed in bed...THE END :toothless
p.s. very nice meeting with everyone....arturo:toothless ,ian, lee, rueben, tom dat, shannon, kris ,brian ,vlad and tatgirl...if i missed anyone, forgive me, i 'am still "shelacked" from last night :toothless |

Nu Nrg? weak?
no way!!! complete fault of the sound techies. they didnt even have monitors on for like the first 10-15 minutes. what THEY were doing was solid from the beginning (in my humble opinion of course :) ) .
as a big pvd fan, of course i love nu nrg, because ive been exposed to their music as much as anyone could be...... but seeing them live, i have a new found level of respect for these guys. they are more awesome than i thought (go figure...) |

i was a little skeptical when i heard there would be a stage inside arc, b/c it is so small and i figured it would be crowded, but there was enough room and it was fine not too overcrowed not too hot, etc.
definatly nice to walk out into the daylite and it not be humid out, i was even a little cold :nervous: .
anyways i liked the end of edgar's set, and when NU NRG went on the sound was way off, but that problem was fixed and the sound was great after that. my favourite part had to be seeing NU NRG do what they do up close, that was great. and they had a good interaction with the crowd. now i have heard it was recorded anyone have any info's on that rumour? heard the first 2 hours of vic's set, and he never disappoints, was way too tired to close out his set. cant wait till the loft party.
great seeing all the TA's out and meeting a few new ones!

hmmm.... i have a feeling the tracks you are trying to have labelled not many of us would know. edgar always has his personal collection of hard housey that im guessing is not too well known.
i remember him playing ferry corsten- indigo, but im sure u know that. there was this one song i dig, with female vocals. i cant remember the words any more. but i have heard him play it at glow before pvds set, and i think i heard it at space before pvd during wmc. |

hrm not bad but not great, a good tease for pvd or shall i say i good anti-climax. im sorry to hate edgar but wouldnt u want to respect paul alittle more by not playing his latest works before he came. i mean he's gonna be here in a few days and ur playing his before he gets to play it...kinda sad but on the other hand, its nice to hear the tracks on phazon so that was a plus, and yea vega 4 time of our lives definitely sounds sick live. ok so nu-nrg? hrm to be honest, i'd rather see a DJ set from them instead of a PA, i mean PA is a good preformance but i didnt get completely into their set.
it was nice seeing everyone represent last night. i was pretty smashed so i cant really detail names. but i must comment, indy ur a handful and ur great keep dancin ur arse off~!
definitely a good teaser to thursday, thursday we will go crazyyyyy i will be in the park around 1ish so all of you people who got my number give me a ring cuz i'll defintely gonna be laying out drinking in the parking during the day time so maybe we can be drunk together...yes to drinking...yes to alcohol...yes to SLEEP (finally) |
