how to go about this? (involves a girl)

ok, so ive just started high school... and ive met this girl that i like.... we've talked once or twice, and been a little flirty w/ each other... but thats it. She's pretty cool, and I'd want to ask her out, but i want to get to know her a little more to see if i really like her. and it would give me a better chance w/ her than if i were to walk straight up to her and say "hey, do u wanna go out with me?"
so im not lookin for a way to ask her out, im lookin for a way to get to kno her first
so far ive come up with one good idea:
Next time i get to talk to her, strike up a little conversation, and ask her if she's doin anythin later, and if she'd wanna hang out
any other (possibly better) ideas would be appreciated |

ill make it simple and im sure everyone will agree. girls dig confidence, and youll never know someone enough to see if you want to date them before you date them. shes cute. thats enough. Dont say go out. make a plan. say im gonna go do ____ i think itd be fantastic if you joined me.
or yeah, wanna hang out this ____ ...again name a day. dont vacillate* and let them slip away

Well to get her know her first you have to befriend her...
But if you guys flirted and all... then chances are she won't say no if you go ahead and ask her out...
Just go ahead and do it, cause if you try and work intricate angles and all that then things can get messy...

Ask her to go to the movies, cosmic bowling, putt putt, etc. Tell her you're going to bring a few of your friends (assuming that you have friends :p) and she can bring someone if she'd like. Then take it from there...if things look good ask her to go somewhere with you again.
Don't drag it out too long though, because it will come to the point where the girl will look at you as a friend. I tend to have this problem...:sadgreen: |

Out of my own experience, I must recommend you stay the away from grade 9 girls. They are unstable and crazy. They will cut off your penis while you sleep. |

Man, another classic case of thinking about it too much. Next time you're talking to her, just ask her if she wants to go hang out sometime, wherever, at the mall, theatre, park, downtown, whatever.
EDIT: I really briefed it, but you get the idea. It's not like she's going to think 'wtf is he doing, he's so NOT smooth' etc. Don't let any fears control you. |
