i'm going to throw out that i think y'all are wrong because i'm *pretty* sure gonorrhea is a bacterial infection that can be cured by antibiotics. making no promises, but somehow i recall that. clyde, it's very easy for men to be STD carriers and not know b/c their symptoms tend to be less severe than women's. so get yourself tested, you could be passing it around even though you have no symptoms.
honestly, who s when they're (that would be pus-y, not a synonym for vagina) and in pain? please don't answer if that's you. |

there's a decent chance it could still be in your system. evolutionarily, STDs survive b/c they are transmitted inadvertantly (for the most part). when people KNOW they have an STD, they get it taken care of. symptoms can take months and even years to develop so you could pass it can be passed to a lot of people (depending on how much game you have) before you realize you have it. just go get tested, it's usually free at your county health department, or you can pay abou $60 to get it done at planned parenthood.

Why dont you go and have it checked instead of taking a chance?
U never know when it could pop back, and it could have gone worst with time
plus its the least you can do to avoid giving it to the chicks you sleep with and spreading your around :toothless |

yeah definatly a good idea you brought this up.
Gonorrhea is curable. it is a bacterial infection.
so in all liklyhood it is gone.
but
you said you did or didn't take your antibiotics? thats very important to know. if you didn't take the antibiotics in the fashion you were supposed to (normally it'd be like it 3 times a day for a week and maybe stepping down the dosage as the week progressed), then there is the slight possibility that the bacteria is still somehow in your system (i doubt this tho, because bacterial infection's don't normally go into remission like viral, altho i could be wrong).
Even though you haven't seen signs of it for acouple of years, I'd suggest that you go and get tested (if you didn't take the antibiotics properly).
I wouldn't freak out about still having. but just be safe and get retested.
